He doesn't do anything amazingly SS-y, but he is able to restrain the Spider with a tentacle, who seems to be about as strong as regular Spidey.

Kool-Aid Man is a great choice here for Scientist Extortion.
No attacking does not harm his value at all and the bonding increases it a ton.

And if KAM flips you can still heal by attacking him.

KAM can't use his "instead of attacking" power if he can't attack, so the "no attacking" clause does hurt him.

KAM's healing instead of attacking power would require the X to be revealed here to give him an attack action to trade in for the healing power use. Smashing through DO's would be something he could do with or without the X reveal, as it's just tied to moving. If the intent is otherwise, then some work needs to be done on the wording here.

Another thing to clarify, do you roll the d20 to see if your scientist switches sides any time you move them or only when you reveal the X and have them attack? Seems like it could be interpreted either way.

Ugh, you could still attack him though to heal.
Still a decent option with the X heal, especially if you get pull it off on OM 3 and then OM1 on an initiative switch.
Still good against the Batmobile I guess.

During this turn, the chosen Scientist can only attack if you reveal the "X" Order Marker on this card. Then, roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 2 or lower, choose an opponent to take permanent control of that Scientist. You may not take any additional turns with other figures you control.

At the end of the round, remove 1 Wound Marker from this card.

Grip of the Octopus: Failed to roll a skull at end of round, they never disengaged.

Extortion: Had a couple of scary low rolls 3 and 4, but never lost a Scientist.

Healing: Healed 2 wounds

The Octopus made it to round 3, but then Rocksteady was able to take him down, leaving Goliath and Beast on cleanup. Beast did pretty well but Bebop was still able to pull it out in the end.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Bebop with 1 life left.

Grip of the Octopus: Dealt a wound to Bucky to kill him and 1 wound to Human Torch

Extortion: Once again did not lose a Scientist. Lowest roll this game was 7.

Healing: Healed 3 wounds.

Kool-Aid Man healed Cap twice which hurt team Science. Cap was able to stick around to the end thanks to that. Ock lived longer this game but died right at the start of round 4.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Captain America with 4 wounds and Sub-Mariner with 3 wounds.

Octopus just got kinda clobbered this game, but I really like Yellowjacket as a bonding partner here since the Shrinking Ray Gun isn't instead of attack but after taking a turn.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: He feels a little soft for an OM hub and there's always the suspense when you take a turn with a Scientist but my d20 rolls were pretty good over these games. He can probably come down in cost a bit, I didn't even lose a Scientist and he felt a little weak.

I’d probably recommend sending him to public testing at 200. His stats aren’t that impressive and he always has the risk of losing you a figure.

Looks good. A 50 point drop seems a little strong with those results. Agree with a drop in general, though.
