Since this is instead of taking a turn, does that mean you can't use Robin on a turn where Batman uses his First Aid, since Robin is after taking a turn?

I've run into this a few times, but never got around to asking.

Pretty sure other bonding chains break as a result of similar powers. Prof. X does not let Jubilee take a turn when he uses his power to take a turn with two mutants instead of taking a turn with his figure. Scott gets around this by breaking up his synergy such that he gives up a phase of his turn, thus he is still taking a turn and Jubilee does get to bond with him.

My and the way that I've always played it is that you can do both.

When powers that are both yours would happen simultaneously, you get to choose the order they go in (which would imply they both still happen). So both are occurring simultaneously after the turn, you just get to choose the order from that point on. Nothing in either power prevents one from being used simultaneously with the other - Vigilante Sidekick just prevents it from being used in conjunction with other turns, which using the First Aid Kit is not.

The Professor X/Jubilee example doesn't apply here because what breaks up that bonding chain is that Jubilee bonds with a figure after an OM is revealed on that figure and that figure takes a turn. In your example, Prof X is doing something instead of taking a turn, so that removes Jubilee's ability to bond. If it were a matter where Professor X got to activate his two Mutants after taking a turn, Jubilee could still take a turn at the end of that chain, since you'd get to decide the order things activated in.

No. What is the first bolded part talking about? The Robin bonding does not take place simultaneously with the First Aid Kit usage. Then your argument in the second part points to the 'instead of taking a turn' language, which the First Aid Kit also uses.

VIGILANTE SIDEKICK
After revealing an Order Marker on the Army Card of a Vigilante you control and taking a turn with that Vigilante, if Robin is within 6 clear sight spaces of that Vigilante, you may take an immediate turn with Robin, and you may not take any additional turns with other figures you control. If Robin is adjacent to that Vigilante when attacking an adjacent figure this turn, add 1 die to his attack.

Based on what I read in the first post and what I have quoted here, it looks like you are correct, Yodaking and LP. Since Robin's Vigilante Sidekick reads, "After revealing an Order Marker on the Army Card of a Vigilante you control and taking a turn with that Vigilante," then the Vigilante taking a turn is imperative to the power. Since First Aid Kit calls for, "Instead of taking a turn," in order for Batman to use the glyph, then either Batman can bond and give Robin a turn or he can heal, but he can't do both.
