Cool, thanks . Glad I wasn't 'design banned' or something. I guess I could probably come up with some C3G type designs to put in here or something since I've got some points hanging around. I don't like having to worry about what ideas count as mine and having to take down cards and what-not, but honestly, C3G and the 'Soundwarpverse' are so far diverged it probably wouldn't be an issue as to convert anything of mine to a C3G version would probably render it unrecognizable.

I don't think we're actually too strict about that kind of thing. A lot of the early C3G customs are pretty clearly descended from previously-existing personal customs. The bigger point is "don't workshop something in here and then call it your own original idea".

But yeah, from what I've seen of your personal customs, you're operating in a pretty different arena anyhow.

Ok, I've got a few designs 'converted' (by remaking them whole cloth in most cases) to be more C3Gish. Most of them have probably already been tackled by someone somewhere around here I'm sure, but I didn't feel like looking. So yeah, I guess if someone cares for one of them let me know and I can run that once I get the points or what not.

Full warning, my wording might be a bit off-standard. The 'Soundwarpverse' has long since abandoned Heroscape's torturous wording standards, and I sometimes forget to fully change things back when I post things like this.

Anyway, first one is up now, more to come tomorrow.

Agent Brand

AGENT BACK-UP
After revealing an order marker on an Agent Hero you control and taking a turn with that Agent, if that Agent did not attack or inflict any wounds during that turn, you may choose 1 other Agent Hero or an Agent Squad you control and take an immediate turn with that Hero or Squad. If you do, you may not take any additional turns with other figures you control.

CONTACT PYROKINESIS
After moving and before attacking with Brand, you may choose 1 figure adjacent to Brand and roll the 20-sided die. On a 15 or higher, the chosen figure receives 1 wound. Figures with the Lava Resistant special power are not affected by Contact Pyrokinesis.

Notes: So yeah, don't claim to be an expert on Brand here, but I liked her in the SWORD mini-series thing.

S.W.O.R.D. Recruitment is supposed to represent how she seems to mostly solve alien problems by getting different aliens/mutants/whatever's to help out, while going by the round instead of the game goes with her 'hey you, come with me right now' quick-fire leadership style (it also prevents her from getting too crazy with Fury).

The idea behind S.W.O.R.D. Back-up is that going in guns a blazing against unknown aliens and such isn't really the best idea, so Brand will give her team time to talk down a threat or what-have-you, but she's ready to bring some heat if that doesn't pan out. It's also meant to give her a little light synergy with Beast.

Contact Pyrokinesis is intentionally a pretty minor power, since it's not that important to her character to me.

ELECTRUM INVESTMENT
At the start of the game, for each Court of Owls member in your army, you may choose 1 Assassin Unique Hero in your army and place one gold electrum marker on the chosen Hero's Army Card. At the start of each round, you may either:
* Choose any number of Heroes you control that each have one or more electrum markers on their card and are not on a snow or ice space, and remove one electrum marker from each of their cards. If you do, remove 1 wound marker from each of the chosen Heroes' Army Cards.
* Choose a destroyed Hero in your army with 6 or more electrum markers on their Card and remove 6 electrum markers from that Hero's Army Card. If you do, remove all wound markers from that Hero's Army Card, then place that Hero on a space in your Start Zone.

BEHIND GRANITE AND LIME
A Member of the Court of Owls cannot be attacked as long as they are in your Start Zone and you control at least one Assassin Hero.

THEY'LL SEND THE TALON FOR YOUR HEAD
After revealing an order marker on this card and instead of taking a turn with the Court of Owls, you may take a turn with one Assassin Hero you control.

Notes: These guys are a touch on the crazy side I'll admit. The basic idea here is I wanted the generic Talons to be sneaky types that also had a bit of a swarm feel, while also giving them a 'hit list' power that could be shared by future non-generic Talons that would get slightly more interesting other powers. That didn't really leave room for the weird resurrection thing they do, so I decided to make a Court of Owls card for that since they're the ones that give out electrum and decide when to wake people up anyway. Depending on what species the Talons end up at, I might attach a species restriction to the electrum hand-out to prevent the court from resurrecting like Gamora or something crazy.

Nice. I was just thinking about her the other day. Seems like a pretty sound take and a cool spin on a recruitment power. Might go Director on her class rather than Agent? You'd need her SWORD Back-Up special power to explicitly loop herself in, but should be fine otherwise.

Lots of Agent discussion around these days. I like it.

I could see S.W.O.R.D. backup being renamed Agent Backup and fitting nicely in a design @Lazy_Orang is brainstorming right now...

The Soundwarpscape version actually is a Director, I went Agent here because Fury is an Agent (even though he has a power that confirmes he's the director version and not like, early 1960s Fury or something). It seemed weird for her to 'outrank' him. I'd be fine with Director if y'all are, especially if there is any synergy planned there.

I'm fine with renaming this, or just finding something else for her if y'all want this power elsewhere.

There's actually a pretty big difference in the modification you suggested, in that you still get to try an attack. So you could say, attack a Green Lantern and force them to remove a battery marker and still get the bonus turn. That's still a fine power, it just doesn't have quite the same theme as what I was going for.

Got it and not at all how my brain read it this morning. So the intent is that if you attack at all (whether you inflict a wound or not) you can't use this and if you inflict a wound without attacking you also can't use it...so you only get to use it if you don't attack and if you don't inflict a wound by other means..is that correct on intent?

Either way it's a good power for a reuse and with him already having a S.W.O.R.D. callout on the card it wouldn't be as important to keep the S.W.O.R.D. name.
