Is it intentional that Wolfsbane has a Blood Tracking (no number on the end) power and Blade has Blood Tracking 3, both powers having different (albeit similar) effects?

Yes, but I am surprised that happened. C3G tries not to re-use power names with different powers.

Looking back a couple pages it looks like it was called Vampiric Tracking.
The name was changed in 2016 for some reason not given as far as I can tell. @A3n do you remember why that was changed?

Reading through Wolfsbane it is humorous that not re-using power names with different text is discussed.

It's reused on an On Deck unit that isn't a vampire, so the name got changed to be more broadly applicable. (I think that's what happened anyway). I think the fact that Blood Tracking was already in use got overlooked.

It has to do with Hepzibah's power being the same so it was decided to change Blade's power name. So those working on Hepzibah didn't realize that Blood Tracking already exisited on Wolfsbane...
