why are there so many different types of Marro?

Looking over the cards, it's quite obvious that there are lots of different marro varieties. we have:

humanoids
a horse
a giant
a snake
A drider (kemoshi for those who don't know what a drider is)
and dogs, though these are technically not marro (wulsinu and the other one escapes me at the moment)
and the hive, which im assuming is a swamp tree or something like that.

So, are there any theories as to why all the different vareties? have they explained it already? has someone else posted a thread like this one?

They're like rabbits,

My mind is the Pink Zippo that sits on top of a pack of Camel Wides.

The Super Atheist is a puppet of Ne-Gok-Sa
I like it, although it should all be marro, not wulishnu or nagrub.

It gives variety while keeping the same color scheme.

Could it be because there's an entire planet of Marro?

Massive Marro Army

I like the theme armies. The last game I played I used a 1000 point army of all orcs.
Now this is not my what I do all the time but sometimes it is fun to use all elves, samurai, or in this case marro.

Thanks for the last and greatest betrayal, of the last and greatest of human dreams.

Well, I would imagine its one of two things. 1. It's a caste system, each type of marro has it's own function, or 2. Since Marro come from Marr, much as we are Earthlings since where come from Earth. Just a broad generalization

All animal marro are wulsinu. That means me-burq-sa's horse and su-bak-na's dragon.

The nagrubs are not wulsinu so not all animals are. Also Su-Bak-Na's dragon doesn't look like them so I would think he isn't also.

Blackrock is surprisingly tart
I do see a difference between the Marrden hounds and Marrden nagrubs, as it appears that wulsinu look more like skinless Earth creatures (I guess it's really a bizarre sort of exoskeleton). We don't know what the giant worm hivelord is, technically (his name escapes me), but I will be surprised if he is a marro, seeing as he isn't at all humanoid (at least Kee-Mo-Shi has a humanoid torso, head, and arms). Still, he has the title of a marro hivelord, so who knows...

Keep in mind they also share the planet (and war) with the vipers and primadons.
