Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Graviton
Yeah, there are a few Unique Heroes like that who can really dictate the gameplay single-handedly. Ozymandias, pre-reeval Joker (I), and Balder are others that come to mind that are like that.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Graviton
I despise him. One of the worst figures to play against unless you have a way to get around his powers. I have battled him with Ghost Rider many times.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Graviton
4/A-
Can be a giant nuisance to go up against, especially when paired with additional solid lockdown units like Jean and Blob. Lacks real synergy, but does well enough in generalist armies. |

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Madame Hydra
I like her, but her ceiling is based on the first two powers and they're really streaky and hard to count on consistently, which keeps her a level below competitive. I imagine Red Skull (II) helps her special attack a bit. Obviously pairs well with HYDRA Agents, but the timing of the first power keeps her from inspiring them for more than two turns a round (and then she still has to get in a kill).
Easy enough to fit into armies, but no great shakes. 3/C+ C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Madame Hydra
Yeah, for a while their I was trying to justify taking her as a 140 point add on to random armies strictly for the SA potential. 2 auto wounds on a higher point unit could get you close to 140 points of value. It just didn't pan out consistently to make that viable though. Bats' has a great point on pairing her up with Red Skull II and giving it another try. I still wish she would go first before the Hydra Agents though, that way she really would be leading by example and have the potential to inspire them for all 3 of their turns in a round. Getting a kill with her on OM3 is just such a disappointment considering the Hydra Agents low attack of 2. They could really use the boost. 3 Stars

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Madame Hydra
Her + Red Skull II could be an interesting combo. Maybe Red Skull II/Madame HYDRA/Crossbones/a bunch of HYDRA Agents could do something.
Overal though, I agree with you two. I think she looks more useful on paper than she actually is, since she’s only buffing HYDRA Agents 2 turns at most 99% of the time. |

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Madame Hydra
She's cool, but she is lacking some good factional support which, I think, would really make her shine. 3/B

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - M.O.D.O.K.
He's pretty synergy-light, but can do a lot of fun stuff on his own. I really enjoy this guy, even if he's not top-tier competitive. Auto-wounds are always valuable, though the restrictions here keep this version in check.
4/B C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - M.O.D.O.K.
He's been one of my favorite figures for a long time. Lots of very cool options and just a solid dude. I haven't played him in quite some time, I should remedy that.
