Re: Movies: What did You Watch Last Night?
Put me down for Harold and Kumar.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Movies: What did You Watch Last Night?
My wife and I watched Justice League last night. She hadn't seen it yet and asked if I wanted to watch it again, as I had already seen it with our daughters.
She thought it was okay, and liked Wonder Woman and Superman the best. We both agree that we didn't care for Batman on this. Cyborg was neat, Flash was funny and it felt natural, unlike a lot of the other members' attempts at humor. Aquaman was okay, but it seemed forced that they were trying to make him "cool" and a "bad boy" type to counter some people's negative perceptions of Aquaman of old. Wonder Woman is by far the best character DC has in their movies. I had always thought the Batman movies were okay, but not all that. Ben Batman seems more like Fatman than ever. The thing I've always disliked about movie Batmans, is that that seem to move like molasses. Very boring to watch fighting. Aquaman is more fun to watch and Wonder Woman is very awesome to watch fight. I also thought that crawling machine Batman had was lame. Watched The Witch that night with the wife. Wow, what a movie! I was blown away*.
*The last 10 minutes don't count. What possessed them to tack that on and ruin an otherwise near perfect film is completely beyond me. Arena of the Valkyire - Help create Heroscape's next Master Set! Trade List C3V Brainstorm never not funny Pepperony - 14/09/13 |

Re: Movies: What did You Watch Last Night?
I saw Cool World yesterday. I was disappointed, as I expected a good follow-up to Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Re: Movies: What did You Watch Last Night?
Saw Deadpool II last night with my wife. We liked it. I don't think we liked it as much as the first but I haven't rewatched the first since the original theater viewing so it might just have a higher rating in my mind since it was "different". We were also just needing some laughs after this week so I may be over rating DP2 as well. I'll probably be watching both again before two long.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: Movies: What did You Watch Last Night?
First Deadpool was clearly better then the sequel IMO, but the sequel was still a decent flick.

oh yeah, that was never in the argument. My argument with myself was just the size of the gap.
