Re: The Book of General Zod
Would this benefit from the insertion of some "one-at-a-time" language?
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of General Zod
Yep, that works. Though I don't mind the even more liberal version where each Spy rolls for each figure that Spy is adjacent to, I suppose the Marrden Hound version is at least a move towards a more powerful Zod. (Or more clearly powerful if this was the intention all along!).

Re: The Book of General Zod
OK. I'm confused. Here are two possible interpretations. Please tell me which is true:
1. Infiltrator Red and Infiltrator Blue are both adjacent to Superman. I roll one combat dice for each of them, with the potential to do two wounds to Superman. 2. Infiltrator Red and Infiltrator Blue are both adjacent to Superman. I roll one combat die total, with the potential to do one wound to Superman. Which is it? Because I was speaking of the former and the writer up reads to me as the latter .... C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of General Zod
OK, that's what I thought. The former would have been even better, IMO, but as I said in my other post, the latter is still an improvement and still a change that makes me happy. You just have to spread them out more (but it limits how much they can impact a single unique hero).

Re: The Book of General Zod
On a slightly off topic note, wouldn't it be cool if each Spy could roll for each person they are adjacent to, but a max of one wound was possible?
So, both Red Spy and Blue Spy could roll against Superman, but if both rolled skulls Supes would only take one wound. BUT, if either whiffed, the other still had a chance to hit him. Seems like it would beef up tremendously an underutilized design. Semi-Retired C3G Hero (and first Official Member of the C3G Target Audience!) The correct way to add C3G playtests to posts. My favorite day EVER on heroscapers. DISCLAIMER: C3G claims no ownership of the characters or artwork used for C3G customs. Re: The Book of General Zod
Oh good. Zod has ALWAYS underperformed, which is not consistent with his character. Glad to see him getting a boost.
I like the first option beter too @IAmBatman a would for each spy doesnt seem too powerful to me. |

Re: The Book of General Zod
Heh. Maybe if you can get all the competitive guys to say so,
@weebaer
you can talk the Heroes into it.
