I use a glass bed and can print the hexes upside down and get a nice glossy sheen. It's a little hard to tell from the picture, but they are super smoothe on the top facing the glass. |

Re: Index of 3D Printed Stl Files
Thanks for the tip. The Ender 3 V2 ships with a glass print bed but I'm new at this and was reluctant to fiddle with the initial layer. I'll try adjusting the settings and see what happens.
EDIT: Here's the result. You can see the face down one (left) @ 0.1mm still isn't as glossy as the faceup. I don't know that it matters though when you're actually playing. At a distance it's really not that noticeable. WK- what type of filament are you using on those ice/glacier tiles? They look great. Last edited by LilMoochie : five minutes ago. But I've also used Overture clear PETG. They look almost the same, and the stringing is minimal. I bought some new transparent PLA, but it looks a little yellow and I haven't tried it yet. |

I bought some 3D Solutech Natural Clear PLA but haven't used it yet. Their See Through Blue worked pretty good for Ice Elementals though.

Re: Index of 3D Printed Stl Files
3D solutech in general works amazingly on my fdm printer. I stopped picking random filament brands and have stuck with it for awhile with great results. Ive used at least 20 1kg rolls of that stuff. With being able to hollow the large resin models Ive exclusively just printed figures in resin now and leave the fdm to making my armies of resin figures bases.

I've created a terrain section for my Thingiverse where I will be uploading various things I've put together.
