Yeah I meant more of the seam. Currently they are sized to print on 11x17 paper and fit a tile without any seams. But if I cut them up to allow for 8.5x11" printing it will take two sheets per tile. So the seam where the two sheets will meet on the tile is more my question. Should I keep that edge flush or allow overhang and just have a bump there...
ohhhhhh. well what if you have overhang, but a trim marker outside the map part to use as a reference to cut along...i would not overlap them on the finished product...and I would use a marker to color the edge of the paper before mounting...i hope this helps

@japes I can print 11x17 at work. Before you chop all of this, do you want me to print and see how it looks? I don't want to glue it yet, but I'd be ok cutting it to overlay and look at. I could probably use double sided tape on it.

That would be great. I planned on doing it at work but our 11x17 printer went out and there doesn't seem to be a rush to replace it.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

Did you get a chance to print any of these?
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

You know what would an awesome DO?

Destructible Roof Section.

Then you could blow a hole under a figure's feet and drop them into the building.

Something like that may work for a TMNT style map with sewers under city streets as well. You could destroy sections of the street and drop figures in the sewer.
