Thanks for posting the pictures. Do you have the rules for your game available and where did you get the well?

Newb.
Thanks for the feedback everyone!

I am currently working on finishing the "official" rules release of Treasure Quest 4.0 and hope to have them done in the next week or so...(it's been in "development" for over a year!) I will post a link to get them once they are finished.

I bought the well at a store called "Canadian Tire" (I live in Canada). It was part of a Christmas Miniatures product line. I got it for $1.50! What a deal!

Actually, it is VERY quick (and easy), once you get going.
And because I flock the entire piece, you don't have to be as careful.
The trees were built in assembly line fashion and took a couple of days.
The rocks are painted bark chips and took a few hours to make.
You could probably do a master set (trees, rocks and all) in about 2 days.
However, obviously the more detailed you make it, the longer it takes.
I am currently working on 3 Marro Sets and 4 original master sets/
I would still like to do some more rocks, vegetation, stone walkways and the water sections.
By the way, this is the FIRST time I have ever used flock, so don't think that you can't do it. It really is VERY easy!

Could you show us some of the rules etc. for Treasure Quest? It looks like something fun to do with all my D&D minis!

As stated previously, I'm working on the "rule book" presently. I actually just finished the first draft about 20 minutes ago! Horray!
I will post a link when completed. Actually, you could use Heroscape models instead of D&D Minis if you want.
Meanwhile, if you want to learn more about it, you can check it out here:

I just tried sealing some of the Heroscape stuff last night. Hairspray is VERY effective but does seem to slightly change the texture and darken the colour of the flock. (Hairspray is commonly used in the model train hobby world as a sealent.) I think I will put on 2 layers of flock going forward, before sealing the tiles. Hopefully I can post a few pics when I properly assemble a bunch of them. Added some more vegetation and grass details as well...

Well, I have finished the rules (for the time being) for my Dungeon Crawl/ Action/ Adventure game Treasure Quest. Anyone interested in taking a look at them can download them from my website.
Here is the link:

Enjoy!

On the Heroscape front: Recently finished a lake and customizing 3 Master Sets. I will post pics as soon as I can borrow someones digital camera!
