Required movie viewing for everyone.

The Ten Commandments
Ben Hur

El Cid
The Greatest Story Ever Told
Planet of the Apes
Omega Man
The Call of the Wild
Soylent Green
Earthquake
Airport 75
The Agony and the Ecstasy
Bowling for Columbine
So far I've only seen 4 on the list.

-Edit
Who's the girl he's with in Planet of the Apes? She was hot. But I guess she's very geriatric or dead by now.

-Edit
I IMDB her. I clicked Zira. Geez! She's the monkey! Who I meant was Nova.
You really should check out El Cid, The Omega Man, and Soylent Green. Earthquake and Airport 75 were great in their day, but I would imagine they are much too dated now.

Earthquake and Airport 75 are still great watches today because they do not have those cool CGI special effects people are used to today but both are well acted movies and the special effects are still cool.

RIP Mr. Heston, you will definitely be missed.
Interestingly enough the Heston Ben Hur WAS a remake. If you ever see the earlier silent version the chariots are amazing. The boat battle sequences aren't half bad either.

I completely agree. I'm not sure if I'm going to miss the old fella but I'm certain I'll miss the roles he would have played.

My mind is the Pink Zippo that sits on top of a pack of Camel Wides.

RIP.

He was good in Ben-Hur but he excelled and was an award winner as The Mastiff in Cats and Dogs.

Speaking of celebrity deaths and "deaths comes in threes," the actor playing Adrian Monk's therapist died. Heart attack at 65. But I don't think he's worshiped enough though.

I caught portions of El Cid when I was a kid. Maybe I'll check the film. I'm also intrigue with Omega Man.

No, but it definitely reek havoc with the show.

Dan's Mom: "Why you persist in acting like a fifteen year old is beyond me."

Dan: "I'm filled with reckless desire."
