Has there ever been an online card drafting format before? People would have to RSVP early. Have it be 3 or 4-player Heat of Battle/Scraps.

Every three or four-players would be sub-grouped together, D20 roll-off, high roller would choose their place in turn order. Each person in their sub-group posts one drafted army card at a time (maybe you could choose two of an un/common card at once), so players would have a chance to counter-draft. The small group sizes keep it time-manageable so you don't have to wait for all 20 people to choose before it's your turn again. Each group plays together for the first round, afterwards it's random matchups as usual.

I believe I've seen some smaller groups do something like this. Pretty sure the Gang of 4 in New York did a similar thing once. Would be hard to do on our scale, but I think it would be a blast if pulled off.

When: September 24th, 1:00 - 5:00 PM (Please arrive 10 minutes early to register)

Format: Delta Quad Pod 200-230
We're trying out Quad Pod for the first time this month! Each player will bring four mini armies (or pods), and at the beginning of each round, players will pool their armies together (making eight available armies) and then draft two pods to create their army for the round.

We're also using Delta pricing this month! Check here for the main thread, and here to use the army builder! (You will need to check the boxes at the top right to turn on VC and Delta pricing.)

• Bring 4 200-230 Point Armies (yes, 200 is the minimum)
• 10 Figure Limit per Army
• Delta pricing applies this month
• You may not have the same army card in more than one army
• C3V & SoV allowed, Official Marvel NOT allowed this month
• At the beginning of each round, both players pool their four armies (into 8 available armies) and roll the d20. High roller may choose to pick first or defer.
• Player picking first picks one army from the available 8 armies to use.
• The player picking second then picks two armies from the remaining seven armies to use.
• Then the player who went first picks one more army from the remaining five armies to use.
• Power Glyphs: Unique Attack +1, Move +2, Initiative +8, D20 +2, Wound
• Treasure Glyphs: Elixir of Speed, Belt of Giant Strength, Ring of Protection, Scarab of Invulnerability, Brooch of Shielding
• Four 50 minute rounds

Format: Wandering Monster Mash 600
We are combining two formats this month for a Halloween showdown!

First is Monster Mash, where at least 350 points of your army must be large or huge figures. Pretty simple! Bring the big ones out to play!

Second is Wandering Monster. Each map will have a Wandering Monster designated for it. The monster will not start on the board, but after Round 1 ends (before placing Order Markers for Round 2) it will appear on a pre-marked space on the board. (If a monster space is occupied when it spawns, the opponent of the figure on the space may place the monster on a space adjacent to that figure.) All monsters are neutral figures with the following rules:

Both players may place Order Markers on a Wandering Monster's Army Card. When an Order Marker is revealed for a Wandering Monster, that player controls that figure for the duration of its turn. After that turn, the figure becomes Neutral and is not controlled by either player. While the figure is Neutral, all players treat it as an opponent's figure. A Neutral figure cannot attempt to pick up or activate any Treasure Glyphs, but like all figures, it can stand on a Treasure Glyph.

(**Note! Since the rules stipulate that you can't have two of the same Unique figure in your army, you cannot at any point take control of a monster if you already have it in your army, even if your version has been destroyed.)

• C3V & SoV allowed, Official Marvel allowed

A quick note I want to make on our last three monthly events for the year:

The dates are subject to change from the last Saturdays of the month!!!

With holidays taking up the latter ends of these months, December and November will definitely not be on the last Saturdays of their months. October is also subject to change.
