Re: The Book of Galactus (II) - Design
NAME = GALACTUS
SPECIES = TAAEN UNIQUENESS = EVENT HERO CLASS = DEVOURER PERSONALITY = RAVENOUS SIZE/HEIGHT = HUGE 40 LIFE = 10 MOVE = 7 RANGE = 6 ATTACK = 6 DEFENSE = 6 POINTS = 1000 POWER COSMIC SOURCE When placing Order Markers at the start of each round, you may place an additional set of Order Markers on this card. Once per turn, after rolling combat dice for an attack, defense, or special power you may remove an unrevealed Order Marker from this card to reroll any number of dice. WORLD EATER After attacking with Galactus, roll 4 combat dice. For each: • skull rolled, you may choose an unoccupied terrain piece, glyph, destructible object, or obstacle on the battlefield and remove the chosen item from the game. • shield rolled, you may choose a different figure within 4 clear sight spaces of Galactus and inflict 1 wound on each chosen figure. • blank rolled, you may choose a marker on this card and remove it. Re: The Book of Galactus (II) - Design
A 1000 pt Galactus would be great. If I'm reading it right he would be able to remove 1 piece of terrain that is unoccupied, so he couldn't remove a 24 hex piece unless nothing was on it correct? Very cool take on him and one that would get way more use that the current one.

Re: The Book of Galactus (II) - Design
"When placing Order Markers at the start of each round, if you place all your Order Markers on this card, you may place an additional set of Order Markers."
Does this mean that if you place your normal set of Order Markers on his card, you get a second set to place wherever, or does this mean you can place two sets on Galactus? I could see that being read either way. "For each skull you rolled, choose up to one Wound Marker on this card and up to one unoccupied terrain piece, glyph, destructible object, or obstacle on the battlefield and remove the chosen objects from the game." Is a Wound Marker an object? Is it clear that you're removing a Wound Marker as part of this? Would something like "chosen items" work better? Brutally effective power if you have a limited number of Wound Markers. Definitely looking forward to another 1000 point figure! C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Galactus (II) - Design
Lots of numbers to tweak here in testing for sure. I was already thinking of rewording the OM part to just give you an extra set of OMs each round. Making him work well with Silver Surfer seems important even if he’s a one figure army. Also object is vague enough that I thought it was clear the wound got removed but no issue with switching to item there.

Re: The Book of Galactus (II) - Design
I know you said wording is tight, but with the additional Order Markers (especially if you let them be placed on other figures, which I do like), I think you probably need some language like Ozymandias has about only being able to reveal and take a turn with one.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Galactus (II) - Design
That seems pretty covered by the rules in my opinion and pretty extraneous ok cards and probably only needs to be spelled out when breaking that like with the TMNT or Vandal Savage.

Re: The Book of Galactus (II) - Design
+1 on needing that language. The OG Heroscape rules obviously don’t really address what happens when you have multiple OMs.
