Character Bio - Tyros was originally the dictator of the small city-state Lanlak on the world of Birj (sometimes translated as Terran), a moon of the gas giant Marman in a solar system eighty thousand light years from earth. Tyros ruled through the use of his limited power over earth and rock. This power, which apparently was a mutation unique to Tyros, enabled him to animate constructs of stone, which would patrol his kingdom maintaining his firm control. Tyros loved power and conquest, and led a life of debauchery and violence. Somehow, he came to the attention of Galactus, the world devourer. Galactus had been seeking a new herald to guide him to fertile planets, which he needed for sustenance. The space being surmised that the common fault in most of his former herald was that their moral values prevented them from fulfilling their duties. For a new herald, Galactus sought an individual who would have no compunction in finding worlds for Galactus to render lifeless. - (ComicVine, 2019)

• place up to 3 rock tiles or 1 Small Rock Outcrop destructible object from this card onto empty spaces that are not single-hex rock tiles.
• remove up to 3 unoccupied single-hex rock tiles or 1 Small Rock Outcrop destructible object from the battlefield and place them on this card.
Tiles and objects placed or removed by this special power must be within 7 spaces of Terrax.

THE POWER COSMIC
Before rolling attack or defense dice for Terrax, you may remove any number of unrevealed Order Markers from this card and add that number of skulls or shields to your roll.

EARTH STRENGTH 1
Terrax never rolls for lava field or molten lava damage. Add 1 to Terrax's attack and defense while he is on a lava field or rock space.

Looks good! Part of me is tempted to add a "HERALD OF DESTRUCTION" power that gives a D20 boost to adjacent Devourer Heroes (Headpool and Satannus would enjoy that too) but that might be better saved for villainous Silver Surfer.

I don’t think Terrax is a 4 power design. Originally only had 2 powers here but Earth Strength was designed since my original write up.

I do still think he should have (short) range. He's an up close and personal guy, but he can and does blast people with cosmic energy and rocks and stuff.

Spoiler Alert!

I do still think there should be SOME limit to what he can take on and off the field, even if it's as simple as "within X spaces of Terrax."

Agreed! I was originally trying to think if it could combo with Power Cosmic, but I don't think it does cleanly.

I like what you have here and this guy offers plenty of reason to take him with Galactus as is.

I could be convinced on a range of 3, as long as we don't think that'll reduce his attack.

I also don't mind adding a limited range of 8-10 on placing/removing terrain.

I agree that he needs to have some kind of limit. I've played 6 player games on table sized boards that might have had 20+ single hex rock tiles spread out over it. Also what do you do if the single hex rock tile is part of the base layer and removing it leaves a hole in the board? Is that spot just unusable for the rest of the game now?

We have rules to cover that.

That comic book cover image of him throwing a pile of rocks as Johnny is pretty sweet, but I do worry about giving him a normal (ie. boost-able) ranged attack with the base attack of 7. What if you could roll 1 unblockable vs. a figure adj. to any of the rock tiles he places instead to give him a ranged attack option?
