Re: Conflict Chernobyl
Just added this rule you had on the City Park map.
All Tree Destuctible Objects have the Nature and Tree keywords. Thinking the Jungle Plants/Trees should be included (tree keyword only for the trees, but nature for both) in that, but they are not DO's. Is that an problem for us? |

Re: Conflict Chernobyl
Hmm, this is where I get back to wishing we had some more generically useful Resources besides just the Orbital Control.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Conflict Chernobyl
We need a couple
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: Conflict Chernobyl
Would Cosmic Shielding make some sense? It's a bit more niche, but would protect you from trees getting chucked your way.

Re: Conflict Chernobyl
After reading the Cosmic Shielding bio, it could make sense from a theme standpoint. The occupiers developed something to shield them from toxic damage (ie. radiation). Not sure how helpful +2 defense vs. SA will in play though. Might depend on where that token ends up once it's converted.
I think I have all the object info taken care of now. Made the Ruin Walls Huge DO's with the Rubble keyword. Just needed to ask a question about placement of the Debris in that thread. |

Re: Conflict Chernobyl
Another stray thought. We could see if we have enough road tiles to extend into the start zone. Then if might be a little more attractive to go out to the edges if you had the +3 move right away.

Re: Conflict Chernobyl
Looking at the finished 2.0 items. I could see Experimental Medicine being useful here. Being stored/developed in this radiation heavy environment has unpredictable results. It's Rank 2, as is the Teleportation Belt if we wanted two different items placed face down. Being able to teleport past some units could be helpful on this map.

Re: Conflict Chernobyl
I added this to the Rulings section in the OP.
• Since the Huge Ruin Wall Destructible Object's have the Rubble keyword, if it is attacked and destroyed, the player who destroyed it may place the Debris Destructible Object on any unoccupied space that was adjacent to the wall prior to being removed from play. Was wondering if maybe we could replace one Ruin Wall with 2 Debris piles instead of 1. Since they both have so many adjacent hexes, it seems like they should produce more than one pile. Could even let each player place one of them if we wanted to try and make it feel more fair. |

Just following up here after giving it more though, I think I'd rather not try to rebuild the map if I can and just add tokens or DO's (Toxic Waste Barrels) in an effort to get more use out of the sides of the map. |

Re: Conflict Chernobyl
Yeah, I'd want to keep the map as-is if we can and just figure out some resources for those spaces that had the glyphs to pull figures there. I think Experimental Medicine could work. I might favor that and the Cosmic Shielding over the Teleportation Belt, just because I think the belt is most handy on maps that have big elevations.

Re: Conflict Chernobyl
I could see the teleportation belt being used here to pop back and forth across the water or out from behind a wall.
