What Board Game Are You Currently Playing?

Last week:

*3 games of Heroscape with The New York City Gang of Four--see my signature line thread for details.

*3 games of Commands & Colors Napoleonics Expansion #1 (The Spanish Army) Years ago when it came out I played the Spanish, who are hard to play, as they are an inferior army. This time around my constant opponent was willing to try them, and I'm getting to try the French, who are the best army in the series. This time around we're adding the newer options in Expansion #5, such as the second Tactical Deck, Grand Battery, Garrisons, etc.

*Many games of Memoir 44 online on Board Game Arena, and one of Space Empires 4X. Besides many opponents from the US, I've also played M44 against folks from Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Peru, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK.

Kencon sounds like a good time.

What did you thing about Godtear. It is one that I have seen in the past and looks like it would be a pretty good game.

I enjoy it. The biggest mistake I made when I first started playing it a few years ago was playing it like Heroscape, "kill your opponent" its much more subtly an area control game. Once my brain understood that it was like a switch in my head clicked and all of a sudden I understood the game infinitely better and enjoyed it way more.

Thanks for letting me know. I am not sure if that is my style of game play, but the miniatures are great looking.
