I'm planning on running some tests with him today or tomorrow - how many tests, if any, have you run with? (Namely, have you run a match with the first army you have listed, or should I?)

- Give a brief overview. Their team lost, but really, the Twins were the only two who pulled their weight. Twin Light Blast is risky, but if you can get them both into the fray (and with Professor X you definitely can!), it's worth the trouble.

Fantastic Four wins; 3 Wounds on Mister Fantastic, 4 Wounds on Invisible Woman, 3 Wounds on Human Torch, 1 Wound on The Thing, 5 Rounds.

ROUND 1: The Twins land on the central platform while the others move up behind them. The Four perch on height, mostly, and pick at the approaching. Aurora puts a wound on Reed.

ROUND 2: Aurora and Northstar both engage Reed, and both put a wound on him - also one on Johnny with Twin Light Blast. Johnny burns both with Flame On, but no one else can damage them. They bring Reed up to 3 Wounds and the Thing up to 1, but both (and Cyke) are burned by Johnny next turn, killing the Twins. The Thing runs in and finished Cyclops off. They move in on the last three Mutants...

ROUND 3: Angel is surrounded by the group as he attempts to assassinate Invisible Woman, bringing her up to 3 Wounds. Nightcrawler approaches as well - in general, it goes poorly. Angel is killed by lava at the end of the turn.

ROUND 4: Nightcrawler is surrounded and killed, but not before bringing Sue up to 4 Wounds. The Professor begins to move in.

ROUND 5: Reed finishes off Xavier.

- What should be the unit's point value? 160-180 POINTS
- Give a brief overview. It was probably a bad move saving the twins 'til the end, but they end up there, and while Northstar did some good (killing Jubilee and forcing Apocalypse to hurt himself some), it wasn't enough to turn the tide.

Four Horsewomen & Apocalypse wins; 3 Wounds on Apocalypse, 3 Wounds on Mystique, all others destroyed, 8 Rounds.

ROUND 1: Apocalypse stars the game with the Cosmic Cube and E-Ray. He's Blinked forward opposite the Mutants; Blink takes a wound from Cyclops, but Armor takes two from Apocalypse, so...

ROUND 2: No one can hit Armor as Sabretooth comes in; he Pounces on Blink to kill her. The remaining girls come in to do more damage, but... don't.

ROUND 3: Apocalypse kills Armor at last. Sabretooth then pounces on Mystique from afar, dealing two wounds. Apocalypse then moves up and wipes out Cyclops with one hit. Sabretooth brings Mystique up to 4, but then Apocalypse flies in, transfer a wound from her to Sabretooth, then hits him for 4 more wounds! He heals one off with Healing Factor X.

ROUND 4: X-23 gets onto height and tears Sabretooth to ribbons. Wolverine comes in.

ROUND 5: Wolverine hits X-23 for one, but she and Jubilee hit back, dealing him 4 Wounds. He goes berserk and turns X-23 to mush. Mystique goes next and blows him away with one good snipe. She and Jubilee move in on the twins...

ROUND 6: Jubilee comes in close, but Northstar finishes her off with Repetitive Strikes. Mystique gives him a wound, and lava deals another.

ROUND 7: The twins fly in and surround Mystique, but Apocalypse comes in to do even more damage. He takes some wounds with the Cube, but it's enough to pretty much kill everyone else.

ROUND 8: It's enough to literally kill everyone else.

- What should be the unit's point value? 180 POINTS
- Give a brief overview. Even without his twin sister, Northstar is a pretty potent figure - five attack from range is good to have, it's easy for him to get height, and he has Repetitive Strike, which is very useful against units like Scarlet Witch with attacks that would limit wounds.

Latverian Power Couple wins; 3 Wounds on Doctor Doom, 1 Skrull Infiltrator undeployed, all others destroyed, 6 Rounds.

ROUND 1: All but Energizer move in; Scarlet Witch curses Northstar. He can, however, use Repetitive Strike, which is VERY obnoxious against Hex-Sphere Disturbance. He deals one wound. The entire team converges on the Witch as DOOM approaches.

ROUND 2: The Four continue their attack on Scarlet Witch, bringing her up to 3 Wounds through the round. She curses both of the Four, and brings Northstar up to 2 Wounds. Doom comes in, attacks Sue, steals her powers, but does no damage to her with the second try.

ROUND 3: Sue falls back and Energizer tangos with Doom. She doesn't last long. Mister Fantastic then goes to engage him, but takes some hits. Northstar finishes off Wanda (who turns out to have been a Skrull the entire time!), but the team is cursed and wounded against DOOM!

ROUND 4: They finish off the Skrull, then turn their attention to Doom. He racks up 2 Wounds.

ROUND 5: He takes a hit in the meantime, but Doom finally crushes Reed Richards beneath his heel.

ROUND 6: Northstar flies in for a heroic final attacks... but he falls for an Elaborate Pit Trap and is ejected into the lava. Doom destroys Sue immediately after. But, if he hadn't been Trapped, his attack would have dealt two wounds to Doom! In return, though, he'd be wiped out all the same.

ROUND 7: He and Invisible Woman would have tussled, but in the end, Doom still would have been victorious.

FINAL THOUGHTS: He and Aurora make for an interesting team with some potent, if hard to manage, damage-dealing potential - the two benefit a lot from multiple activations and as Mutant Adventurers that's not too tough to find. Even as an individual, though, he's a solid if somewhat uninteresting pick, so I'm not concerned about that... I'm happy with him at 180 from both directions.

Give a brief overview:
-I figured I'd run a game with Northstar's Adventurer synergy. While I felt he did fine, the Titans ended up besting him early on. He put a few wounds on Starfire, but even with Invisible Woman's help, he just had a bad roll. It was also hard to gauge his complete effectiveness, due to not having Aurora to his aid, thus not allowing him to use his 2nd special. Overall, it was a pretty close match.[COLOR]

-I felt this match was a better showing for Northstar. Ultimately they lost, but Northstar dished out a fair amount of damage for his point value. Going up against a giant in Master Mold, he held his own for a few turns. However, the Mutants downfall was when they got out of Professor X's reach, and it was spiraling down from there.
