...I think "great stats" is a little bit of an exaggeration. 7 range is great, though.

In most cases I would rather have Marcu/Isamu.
For such as low point figure, he's great. Kira Jax does give him a run for the money, though.

Re: The Book of Guilty McCreech

Each filler is at their best in certain specific scenarios. Basically it all comes down to basing them in the correct army and facing them off against their preferred opponent(s).

He's ranged. That's important. He's the only ranged figure with a big threat range and a low point cost.

You might want to check out the Wyrmlings. They are ranged, they fly and they cost 30-35 points. Their range is less than Guilty's but since they can fly they can move faster over broken ground and can gain height more easily.

Given your user name, I'd expect you to remember the "Marro Warriors."

Marro Warriors have less Range and cost more Points. 30 Points and below fill gaps. 50 and above compete with higher costs.

Re: The Book of Guilty McCreech

They cost 12.5 per figure, which was MW's point: "only ranged figure with a big threat range a low point cost." How much does Guilty cost per figure?

Their threat range is 6 (move) + 6 (range). What's Guilty's?

edit: Nice little ninja of your own post, Confred, and arbitrary dividing line.

Just so our readers know, this is what it looked like before. Not that it makes a difference, really.

I'm a notorious post tinkerer. What's funny is that I made the change immediately after hitting submit. The chances of you responding at that exact moment were slim.

I do the same thing. Though the chances of me seeing something immediately after it's posted are better than you think.

Re: The Book of Guilty McCreech

I used to think Marcu+Isamu was superior to Guilty, but I've suddenly noticed that I've been using Guilty over the former almost every time. Maybe it's just a phase, but I think I've had change of heart.
