HULKBUSTER ARMAMENTS
Hulkbuster Soldiers roll 1 additional attack die when attacking an opponent's Creature that has the Super Strength special power.

TRANQ GUN 16
A Hulkbuster Soldier that moved but did not attack normally may use Tranq Gun. To use Tranq Gun, choose an opponent's Unique Hero within 3 clear sight spaces. Roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 16 or higher, you may remove one Order Marker at random from the chosen Hero's Army Card.

I haven't looked, but are there Creatures that are Human? I'm sure I may have forgotten any that may be.

Seems pretty potent that there can be 3 attempts of this during a turn.

If a chosen figure is a squaddie or common hero, it would be weird for all of the figures for the card being affected by one tranq.

Seems like a figure with SS should have some kind of benefit.

Can be really nasty vs. Mr. Fantastic, Kingpin, Prof X etc.

Being non-flyers, GL John can carry these guys pretty far to get them into position to use tranq. Not to mention get them to height to get 3 attacks of 5 with range of 6 vs. Creature.

I agree with what Hahma has said. Maybe you make it if 2 HBS are within 3 spaces of the same figure just to add to the difficulty & cost benefit. I'd then be fine reducing the D20 roll.

The non-human bit is mostly just flavor - I feel like "inhuman creatures" is more interesting than just "creatures" in that department.

I definitely think we should limit the Tranqs to Unique Heroes. Not sure if they're too potent - even with three rolls there's fairly good odds you're going to just come on even or not succeed at all, wasting time you could have spent attacking. A3n's approach is pretty cool, though, if we're interested in that direction - I like it.

Not adding a Super Strength modifier was intentional. I'm thinking in terms of the Hulk specifically - these would be the sort of darts design to pierce very thick skin. It's not going to do much damage but it's very focused and piercing.

I wonder if we shouldn't modify the power name slightly, then? These aren't just normal tranqs - they're tranqs designed to take down even superhumans. SUPER TRANQ GUN 11? Something along those lines?

I did mean to say when I posted that I didn't see the point of singling out the Hasbro ones. And I agree with Bats that it's not an ideal option here.

Hmm... yeah, with the Hasbro ones, that does make sense. I don't like it but I don't think there's any way around it.

I could go for a new name for Tranq Gun but can't really think of a good one - any suggestions?
