TCR sounds fun. I can't wait to get these slotcars back up and running! Frtunately the hobby shop around the corner has a layout for the public to run their own cars on for $4/hour.....sweeeeeet

I use the smaller scale, you know, the HO scale? And I loves it. Electric racing is the money. My father has the Scalectrix stuff, and I think he really likes it, so I'll be giving it a try over Christmas.

Waiting for my old avatar to dry off. And to quit stinking, too.

we have a bunch of HO scale stuff. We only have one car tha works on it though, since 90% of it was my dads when he was my age. I actually was able to get 2 cars running, but eventually it ran holes in the pickup shoes and we don't have any more to fit; we bought a kit to get them goin again and i lost the spring...

we need new cars

I also have a vast collection of slotcar track. However I do not have any scalextric. I do have a vast collection of Tyco, Tyco TCR, Tomy AFX, and Carrera 1/24 and 1/32 slotcars and track.
I also have a vast collection of Rc. cars as well.
I have created websites for both.

Edit:Please keep in mind these sites have not been updated in quite sometime. I have even more than pictured.

www.geocities.com/slotcaraddict

www.geocities.com/addicted_2_r_c

Here are some pics from those sites you might enjoy.

Here is a pic which I feel you all will enjoy. It is a Team associated rc18b 1/18th scale buggy and a TA 18mt 1/18th scale monster truck sitting on a HS board I built.

This is one pic of a Tomy Afx setup I created

Here is a Carrera setup.

Here is a tyco setup.

And here is my first Tyco TCR track.

Enjoy!

My dad and i have been looking at Carerra stuff ocasionally; every time we do we question if Carerra cars are compatible with Scalextric track and vise versa....

Carerra has some nice layouts to start with, but we've already invested probably over $1,000 in Scalextric (thats more than what i have in HS!), so we always back down from it.

Could you possibly post a pic or 2 of an individual track piece and the bottom of a car?

K/H,
All my stuff is currently stored in the attic. But IIRC, they are not compatible. But when I get home from the whole family thing today I will do some research for you.

currently, most of our stuff is at my grandpaps house since we moved and had no where else to put it.

Don't worry about it, outtakontroll. We're fine with scalextric stuff.
