Re: The Book of Brit ~~ Design Phase
The Image Comics Wiki has MUTATES as a designation, so that should work, I think.
With that I have no real problem with his power level, though I agree with dropping his Attack down a bit. And I'm good with Brit/Brittany (assuming that Brit is his "official superhero name" used by other folk). JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!

Re: The Book of Brit ~~ Design Phase
I'm against having a secret identity for the sake of having a secret identity. I say it's just Brit without the secret identity.

Re: The Book of Brit ~~ Design Phase
I think just "Brit" makes sense here too. If he had a last name, that'd be something else, but Brit works by itself, IMO.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Brit ~~ Design Phase
Brit, Aussie, Yank, I'm fine with any of them
Looks like from Johnny's post that he can be a Mutate. I'm not totally sold on Superhuman as a species as lots of other characters could be considered Superhuman. Re: The Book of Brit ~~ Design Phase
I'm cool with Mutate if it's thematically justifiable.

Re: The Book of Brit ~~ Design Phase
I don't recall ever reading the word mutate anywhere, but I easily could have missed it, and I think it works. I'll go with that.
I mentioned he has augmented strength from his jet gloves. On top of being invincible so he can hit things as hard as possible without worry of self damage (He breaks through the glass cockpits of jets before he got his jet gloves), then plus his jet gloves beefs him up almost to the point of superstrength, so I think 5 attack is more than justified here. Brit is his superhero name, but Brittany is his real name. I don't find it any different than Mister Zsasz (Victor Zsasz). A lot of the heroes in Invincible especially aren't ever given last names. I just found Rex Splode's last name hidden in a panel, so he's good. |

Re: The Book of Brit ~~ Design Phase
But that's not a bad thing if they don't have another category. But it seems Mutate is correct for this guy.

Re: The Book of Brit ~~ Design Phase
Powers look fine to me.
I'd like to see his species at least absolutely determined before playtesting. Sounds like Brit (Brittany) and Mutate are the way to go right now. Can't argue with the Mister Zsasz precedent on the name. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Brit ~~ Design Phase
I see what A3n is getting at, though - "Mister Zsasz" and "Victor Zsasz" are two separate things. His name is not "Mister;" - that's a title. With Brit/Brittany, it's just a variation on the same name. So I could see him going without a Secret Identity.

Re: The Book of Brit ~~ Design Phase
I don't care that much about it since it really doesn't affect anything, but I like it purely for the theme there, since they make fun of it occasionally. (With the fun-making ending abruptly when Brit glares at whomever. Don't mess with Brit! )

Re: The Book of Brit ~~ Design Phase
LP, (Btw, your repaint looks AMAZING!) but based on the comic pictures, shouldn't his whole shoulderpad thing be red? You stopped at the collar.
