Re: The Book of Hugo Strange - Design
It makes me think of the Titan formula from Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. It does seem like something that would last the whole game or at least for a round.
I've only read a handful of Batman comics and none of them featuring Hugo Strange, so I can't comment on the true to the comics perspective. |

Re: The Book of Hugo Strange - Design
I also updated this:
INSANE PROVOCATION Instead of taking a turn with Hugo Strange, you may either: - Move up to 6 other figures you control with the Insane personality up to 4 spaces each; or - Take a turn with one Army Card you control with the Insane Personality. This allows for lots of Inmates to still move without us feeling like it will be too powerful, and he also gets his bonding back, which was lost from the MMM power being dropped. |

Re: The Book of Hugo Strange - Design

If Hugo reveals an OM and the player controlling him uses Insane Provocation, Harley can't use Insane Devotion with Hugo because ID is "after taking a turn with..." so since he isn't taking a turn while using IP, then there can be no "after taking a turn with him" for her to use ID with. Just thought I'd point that out just in case you wanted her to be able to use ID with him, some wording would have to be changed. But if you don't want her to be able to use ID, then nothing needs to be changed from what I can tell with my non-special eyes. I like the changes here. Sorry I haven't chimed in more - I've been on the road all day. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

When you have to explain it, it isn't funny!

Re: The Book of Hugo Strange - Design
I really like this write up, Griff. Too bad you got rid of MMM, I think it would have been really cool as a marker power with a single marker. Then it would have been tough to decide between a single Unique Hero to boost or a squad/s. Still current write up does simplify him which is good.
Semi-Retired C3G Hero (and first Official Member of the C3G Target Audience!) The correct way to add C3G playtests to posts. My favorite day EVER on heroscapers.
