Re: Getting back into the game.
Yeah! Ckeck out Leifkicker's customs, his stuff is the greatest. The stargate is the best custom we ever got. Specially on the maps we play. Clicked on your youtube video. Sweet map yourself!!

Re: Getting back into the game.
Great map! Would love to see it reproduced in VirtualScape so it can be give to the masses.
What are the non-scape trees from? They look perfect, like they belong. -insert signature here- |

Re: Getting back into the game.
Very nice looking map. I tend not to play maps that big too often, as I find so much time is just spent moving troops into battle, and then you or committed to the few you have moved from your start zone. Maybe a multiplayer Heat of Battle is the way to go, I don't know.
Any tips on how to improve the game flow on big maps like this? How does it go for you guys? |

Re: Getting back into the game.
I think all the road on this particular map goes a long way toward getting figures into the fray quickly. I think I'd also play it with 3-4 players at once (probably 500pts each). With that many figures on the field, you won't be able to help but find someone to fight.

Re: Getting back into the game.
When using large maps use roads. The nonscape trees are from Green Army men play sets. Occasionally we with play with Army Men. A nice set of rules for base game can be found at http://www.combatstorm.com
As for building a map in VirtualScape - Think it's a great program - however we find it to be more fun just building new maps on the fly. Normally they stay up for a month or so before starting over. Not to say they do get modified during that time. Last edited by millermixture; February 19th, 2009 at 10:32 PM. |

Very nice, millermixture!
One Game to rule them all, One Game to find them, One Game to bring them all and in their wallets bind them In the Land of Valhalla where the Valkyrie lie. |
