Okay, here's a quick draft for that:

UNSTABLE
When this Pillar of Hár receives a wound but is not destroyed, any figure on top of it must move 1 space, if possible. When this Pillar of Hár is destroyed, any figure on top of it must be placed on the space that this Pillar of Hár previously occupied. If that figure cannot be placed, it is destroyed. A figure moved or placed by Unstable will receive any falling damage that applies.

Does this sound good?

Hmm. Are double-spaced figures allowed to stand on Pillars? Unless there's a specific rule, a double-spaced figure could stand on two adjacent Pillars. Which causes a lot of trouble with the falling-off aspect.

The OP states only small or medium figures can be on top of a pillar, so you should be good.

Correct, there will be lines in the rulebook to that effect. Technically it's possible for there to be a double-spaced figure that's also Small or Medium, however unlikely, and to my knowledge the number of bases a figure has is never referenced, so sticking to "Small or Medium" is the way to go.

I think enough lines have been crossed that a double-spaced Medium figure would simply not work.

For what it's worth, the Fortress of the Archkyrie rulebook does mention single-space figures on page 5:



But I'm not aware of any similar wording on an actual card and am perfectly fine with sticking to the traditional VC terminology of "small or medium" = single-spaced.

Thanks man. Pillar of Har is officially in playtesting.

I'm thinking our biggest meta concerns include:

Raelin/Aura podding
Airborne Elite
Protectors of Ullar "hop-scotching"

But, on the whole, I don't forsee the pillars being a major factor in competitive play just because their whole premise is going to feel busted in tournement play regardless (hello castle wall syndrome). But for casual games where this thing will see some action in, I don't think we want them to feel so important that other parts of the board are just filler. From my playtest games the pillars dont get crazy action, but I personally run a lot of melee so my opinion may be a bit moot.

@Skinderella , in your game with them, were they a decent factor in your movement decision making? Like did you consider just parking the Krav on them?

They were sadly not used much, only really at the end for securing height on something. The times in my turn by turn that mention when one was used were the only times. But they were danced around a lot, Ozuul's team practically hugged their side's one to begin with. A big part of the risk for the Krav is that staying on their for too long was too risky because a Stinger would be better off attacking the pillar to knock them off and take fall damage. Kinda negated the Kravs' whole thing.
