Legends of Kung Fu

It's impossible to cover, in a game, the accurate strengths and weaknesses of oriental combat or
Kung Fu but the following characters, at least in the Heroscape world, have the feel of the
original 5 animal styles. While their stats aren't much, it's their Special abilities that bring their
unique styles to life.
I couldn't download my cards so I'll give the figure used and stats.

Tiger style: This was for the big , aggressive fighters using ripping tearing attacks.
No defense other than being big…….FIGURE USED D&D--Scarlet Brotherhood Monk
Good figure, shows big muscular guy. (120 pts.)

LIFE 6 - Move 6-Range 1-Attack 6-Defense 4
Tiger Style TIGER CLAWS- Special attack--Range 1 :Attack 3--Tiger may attack two adjacent figures

Leopard Style : This is for strong guys, Quick action, gets in close, keeps attacking…FIGURE USED…

From Heroclix Indy--Boon with his staff cut off..also good fig, in good pose..(100 pts.)
LIFE 5-Move 6-Range 1-Attack 4-Defense 4
Leopard Style--Continuous Attack---When Leopard attacks add 1 skull to whatever is rolled

Counter Strike----When Leopard rolls defense dice all excess shields rolled
Count as unblockable hits to attacker

Crane Style : Flexible guys, evasive, balanced attack and defense-------FIGURE USED--from
Heroclix Indy---Arashi with weapon cut off, not bad but not classic crane pose.(100 pts)
LIFE 4-Move 6-Range 1-Attack 4-Defense 3
Crane Style : Crane Fist Special Attack--Range 1 : Attack 3 -on any small or medium figure count
all skulls rolled as double
Wing Defense : When Crane is attacked by any adjacent figure he may roll defense
dice one additional time if needed.

Dragon Style : The fast, agile fighter, disguised attacks, fluid motion. FIGURE USED…D&D Whirling
Steel Monk with sword cut out…pretty good for Dragon style, he's leaping thru the air..(100 pts)
LIFE 4-Move 6-Range 1-Attack 3-Defense 3
Dragon Style : Double Attack--Dragon attacks twice.
Dragon Kick Special attack-Attack 4 : Range 1--Instead of a normal attack, and any figure
Blocking against rolls 1 less defense dice
Dragon Evades--1 shield blocks all skulls rolled from adjacent attacks.

Snake Style : Fighter goes for vital points, fast ,precise--FIGURE USED--from D&D--Sun Sol Initiate.
weapon cut off.Not a really good fig. Snake should stand upright.(100 pts)
LIFE 4-Move 6-Range 1-Attack 3-Defense 3

Snake Style : Cobra Strike---When Snake uses cobra strike choose any small or medium adjacent
Figure and roll two attack dice, this attack may not be blocked.

Martial Speed :-Always add 1 shield when defense dice are rolled
And finally for any fans of the old Kung Fu Cinema, there was always a white haired Master ,
that could only be beat by one or more guys…so here is" The Master"…FIGURE USED from
D&D--Sharn Cut Throat with knives cut off, hair painted white, white beard and eyebrows added
Cloak painted red and shirt yellow…( 140 pts)
LIFE 6-Move 6-Range 1-Attack 5-Defense 4

Master : Iron Palm : Special attack--Range 1 : Attack 3--1 skull is added to whatever is rolled and opponent
Rolls 1 less defense dice.
Stone Skin : When The Master takes wounds he may roll additional defense dice for each wound
on future attacks.
These have all been play tested for about a year and work well for the types….Monk

Your idea intrigues me but us lazy old folks don't read small print well and our decaying brains work better with pics.

Whooa !

Hold on , I know what you're thinking, and for the record" Crane style "is not pissing on a fire hydrant. I't's just the angle the picture was taken from !
