Then according to Season 4 of G1 Transformers, Transformers are Mechs not Robots.

Just got my son's Softimus Prime in the mail.

http://www.hasbro.com/default.cfm?pa...oduct_id=19721

It's a little smaller than I thought and you turn his torso inside out to transform. But it's definately soft! When he wakes up from his nap I'll find out if he likes it. :fingers crossed smilie:

That's because they're not supposed to be robots. They're Mechs.

Isnt "MECH" a JapAnime term? or Something along the lines from MECHWarrior or ROBOTECH?

I always thought a mech was nothing more than a tank on legs. The only mechs I know of that transformed into something else were the later release ROBOTECHS (late 80's and on). If I remember right the early ROBOTECH mechs did not transform. Mind you it has been more than 20 years since I've kept up with that kind of thing.

****! I must be having a bad week!

Re: I thought Galactus was cool until now...

I feel you Ron! My wife laughs at me every time I mini-rant to my five year old about the Star Wars Transformers being idiotic as they are two totally unrelated things

The Star Wars Transformers are just as bad. Try not to let it bother you.

This just RUINS Galactus. Whoever thought this up at Hasbro should be burned as a witch.
You have no soul. These are awesome. I've been collecting them from the start.

There's a fine line between keeping a license cool and doing something stupid. I thought Darth Tater was the coolest, funniest thing I had ever seen, but many people thought it was sacrilige to Star Wars.
