I'd be fine with singularizing Dinosaurs. Question is whether we could Pterodactyl Beast Boy as one.

Pterodactyls are not Dinosaurs.

Pterosaur would be better though, 'Dinosaur or Pterosaur' isn't too much of a mouthful to have in a power. The only problem now would be if there are any plans for a Plesiosaur or the like, since the various 'sea dinosaurs' don't really have any common name that I can find. Or if someone wants to do a Dimetrodon.

Though I suppose you could just do 'prehistoric reptile' or something to really net everything Dinosaurish in one go.

Of course we'd have two beast boy dinosaurs. We could go pterosaur and then any "dinosaur" bonding could just list the two?

There's no mechanical reason that the different Beast Boys need to have different species, but I do like the idea of maintaining their distinctness, just for the aesthetics of it. Dinosaur/Pterosaur would definitely be manageable for future dinosaur synergy. And if anybody ever really wants to break into designing plesiosaurs or whatever, I'd be comfortable fudging it a little and just calling them dinosaurs. I'm not anticipating that anyway since we don't even have generic T-Rexes or raptors yet, and there aren't any super-iconic plesiosaur characters that I know of.

I like the distinctness but, honestly, all under one umbrella seems easier to me... it's no less egregious than our absolute mess of "Androids" being literally any type of robot.

Wow, three weeks went by WAY faster than I expected...

I'll tag the CRB here with the question of - does the balance seem right to you? At what numbers do you think Old Lace feels "okay for most builds" while Old Lace + Gert feels "good but only worth it for Runaways builds?" Is the double attack too much for that? @dok @Soundwarp SG-1 @Dysole @weebaer

Old Lace is decent in any figure mover build, because Swift Carry is really good. I'd pretty much always toss 20 points at OL to give double attack; I think Gert could probably stand a point bump.

I'm not familiar enough with the other runaway synergies to know how strong Old Lace is overall. All I know off the top of my head is the defense boost figure, which is obviously particularly helpful here given 2 defense and 6 life.
