Mechanically the wording looks pretty clear to me.

As for testing he doesn't seem to have a ton of synergies so Cap/Star-Lord makes sense. Maybe Hellboy II when that design wraps up, but probably not better than the current Ghost Rider.

Chucky and Pinhead could be good buddies for Tormentor synergy.

Might be worth exploring Demon synergies as well.

Edit: I guess the only really worthwhile Demon synergies are probably the Darkholders.

Oh right, I made him Tormentor for a reason.
Demon synergies did not look that great outside of Darkholders, though now that RoF is before moving that may be different.

That's true. That could make Trigon mildly interesting for him. Still probably not his best build, but some mix of him, Trigon, and some tie-down Demons like Blood Demons or N'Garai could be interesting.

I actually wouldn't run him with Cap/Star Lord type builds at all. I'm not seeing anything here that makes stat boosting a optimal use of his points investment. The auto wounds from Ring of Fire are his most attractive team up angle. Draft him with other figures that can move an opponents figures against their will to put them into the fire. Magneto II is the best at that IMO, two chances at really good odds to throw someone where you want them too. Spawn has the chain grab if you want to keep a demon/chains theme going. Hulk II could throw people into the fire while potentially bonding with him.

So if move = place, it would trigger for a wound after a figure is moved next to the ring of fire, yes?

Not sure. The 'move through' clause makes me think no. Is place more like a normal move or Flying?

For the rest of the round, after a figure moves, if it moved through or ended its move on the Ring of Fire, it receives 1 wound. At the end of the round, all figures on this glyph or on a space within 1 space of this glyph receive 1 wound, then remove this glyph from the game.

You can still toss them inside and wait for the Ring to close, if they are a ground pounder.
