OK, looking at this currently.

Anyone have the HeroClix figure?

Would dropping their Life to 3 be weird? I guess we could drop their Defense to 3 if they need to soften up.

NAME = BRIT-CIT JUDGE


SPECIES = HUMAN
UNIQUENESS = UNCOMMON
CLASS = JUDGE
PERSONALITY = DEDICATED

SIZE/HEIGHT = Medium 5

LIFE = 4

MOVE = 5
RANGE = 6
ATTACK = 4
DEFENSE = 4

POINTS = 100

JUDGE
Start the game with a gold/bronze Judgement Marker on this card. If an opponent's figure within clear sight of any Judge you control inflicts a wound on a friendly figure, you may place one of your Judgement Markers from the card of any Brit-Cit Judge you control on that figure's Army Card. A card may not have more than one of your Judgement Markers placed on it.

JURY
Any other (enemy/opponent's?) figure with a Judgement Marker on their card has the class of Criminal in addition to the class on their card. Criminal figures roll one less die when defending against attacks from a Brit-Cit Judge.

EXECUTIONER
If a Brit-Cit Judge inflicts one or more wounds on an opponent's figure with at least one of your Judgement marker on its card with his normal attack and there is only 1 Life remaining on that figure, roll one unblockable attack die against that figure.

Dropping their Life feels less weird than dropping their Defence, but maybe that's just me. It'd put them around the level of the Code: Blue SWAT guys.

Some wording cleanup:

JUDGE
Start the game with a gold/bronze Judgement Marker on this card. You misread something else to - the class of Criminal, as written, is in addition to the figure's current class. No synergy breaking - otherwise they'd be much stronger.

I will try them at 4 Life to start and consider a drop to 3 which I am already leaning towards. The cheaper, the better here.

Sounds like a good plan. Drop to 3 life would be my first move too if you want them to come in at a lower price. Last thought before you begin testing, should the last power work on all criminals and not just those with a marker on their card? Would come into play if you struck first blood on a criminal hero.

FWIW, I'm thinking of repainting some extra Dredds to be this guy, since I don't have this mini. @Tornado is that last pic a good color scheme?

Spidey, if you are going to repaint Dredd figures you may want to consider hacking off the eagle on his shoulder for a future custom, the Lawmaster.

Thinking about using a Space Marine bike from Warhammer 40k with an eagle from Dredd or Hershey up front.
