He's nice as an OM hub for the Frost Giants, though the package together can be expensive. Turning the whole map into ice is cool, but 15+ is far from guaranteed, and you can waste some early turns failing to hit that role and then getting your entire army sniped before they're able to get position.

Don't sleep on 10 Life and 7 Defense for under 400 points, though.

Probably undercosted by ~30-40 points. Though, he's not a go-to draft in various armies, which saves him from feeling like a real game breaking problem. Can be a real pain on large maps/large games for non-fliers.

Any decent builds for Laufey? Laufey, Frost Giant x2, some 200 pointer for a 1000 build? Maybe Plastic Man II?

His problem is you want ~4 Frost Giants to consistently get double turns since he takes so long to kill.

Or forget the Frost Giants and go with like Avengers Hawkeye and JL Doctor Fate and Iceman (II).

Never played him, but the stats alone look like a good deal for his points.

It was! And Fate helps with his D20 roll and loves his high life.

If he was -20 points you could fit an extra Frost Giant in there for 1000.

Not familiar with Marvel Frost Giants. Do they have Mages? If so, maybe they could get one to help with D20 rolls and add a little diversity to the Frost Giant army.

Might stink that this guy seems more authoritative than Laufey, but the Mage would be the Wise Man. And Laufey wouldn't restrict his leg movement like that.

Not huge on either mini options for Laufey. There's so many Frost/Stone/Storm Giant minis out there though.

Yea but Ark said he was undercosted not over so there’s no way we’re getting -20 point there.
