Re: Battlefields of Valhalla Discussion Thread
This is the post that has the error. In the spoiler that lists them by terrain requirements, under the heading "x1 Road to the Forgotten Forest (FF)", it lists Ice Blossom as "(RotV, FF-trees only)" and it should be listed as "(RotV, TT, FF-trees only), as it is in the other subheadings.

Re: Battlefields of Valhalla Discussion Thread
Hi everyone,
An idle question for y'all. If you had to choose one single BoV map -- on which to play every HeroScape game for the rest of your life -- which one would it be? |

Re: Battlefields of Valhalla Discussion Thread
For my money, it would come down to three: Highways and Dieways, Sirocco, and Stygian Rift.
I'd probably pick Sirocco. customs/maps/c3v/sov

Re: Battlefields of Valhalla Discussion Thread
Elswin Plateau all the way. I know it's not the most popular and a little stale for some people, but it's been my favorite since I first built it.
A close second would be Ticalla Sunrise, and it is admittedly more tactically interesting. Honorable mention goes to Road Rampage, which just holds a bunch of nostalgia value for me as the first competitive map I played on. |

So, yeah. I wouldn't make that my forever map, but it is probably the one I'm most attached to. |

Re: Battlefields of Valhalla Discussion Thread
Fulcrum, Stygian Rift, and Bad Moon Rising come to mind right away. H&D and Ticalla Sunrise just behind. I guess I'd probably go for BMR just because I would like the flexibility of glyphs if I'm restricted to one map, and I might not want to spend the rest of my life playing on lava field.

Re: Battlefields of Valhalla Discussion Thread
Nice. Only four posts so far, and yet already lots of variety in what's been named.

Re: Battlefields of Valhalla Discussion Thread
Although Stygian Rift and Road Rampage make it onto two shortlists.

Re: Battlefields of Valhalla Discussion Thread
Probably Draugur, love the pathing of it. Very balanced map and I love the aesthetic appeal, will be a staple of one of my Scape tables for quite a while.
Although, outside Ticalla Sunrise (just based on how many times I've played it), I'd be fine with any other map in the top tier of my Tier List. Casters of Valhalla: THE Competitive HeroScape Podcast! Modern Power Rankings Trade Thread My Tips to Improve Fast BoV Map Tier List |
