OMG, this is increadible. The first custom page I've even seen that isn't horrible. The others all make huge wording mistakes. You seem to have put some actual thought into these. The best of the best customs. Bravo!

I agree and I think the the Hall, Barracks and TnT's threads should be considered when thinking about "official" unofficial customs.

There's some good stuff in these old threads for sure. The SoV might be just like a new and improved version, but the C3V, which I'm likely to stick with, I'm hoping will start everything from scratch (though that's not to say they shouldn't pull good ideas we've already had).

The C3V is definitely a more ambitious project than the SoV, but their differences are why I think that they are both valuable-the C3V is going to develop waves from the ground up, while the SoV is just to help identify some of the most novel, balanced and well-designed third party custom units, much as TnT and the Barracks did before it.

And there's nothing wrong with that. I've always wanted a successful project of the sort (hence running TNT threads). But for the "unofficial official" continuation of the game, my personal interest lies with the "from scratch" designs.

I hope that both methods will be considered when the community decides on what is "official".
