Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
I'm watching the second to last episode of the second and last (?) season of Star Hunter on the El Rey channel (On Demand). Its a somewhat cheezy but fun Canadian SciFi series about bounty hunters in the outer solar system. The first season stars Michael Pare, a familiar face in the genre. The cast leads are changed in the second season, but I'd say the episodes are a bit better in general.
The second season, also known as Star Hunter Redux, was retrofitted with more up to date special effects in 2017, and some thought was given to continuing the series, but that has apparantly not happened. Star Hunter The Creator's Cut, which is either Redux or a Redux redo, also has many restored scenes. You can see a plot summary on IMDB for Redux, although it does contain spoilers. Pare was supposedly brought back in Season Two. Episodes 3 and 4 (and 13) were not shown on El Rey. So whether he appeared in them or will show up in the last episode (#22) I don't know. Anyone else have that info? Interestingly, Episode 3 is plot summarized on IMDB is about sex slaves, which may be why it was censored, and there is no summary for Episode 4 (there is for Episode 13, which does not seem as controversial). For a further mystery, Star Hunter Transformation is listed as Season 3 on IMDB, but only 3 episodes are listed, and none have plot summaries. Does it exist? Anyone know? Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
Just finished Stranger Things season 3 last night on an ill-advised mini-binge of the last three episodes. I really enjoyed it.
Spoiler Alert!

I could see that. He's resilient, though. Look for a big comeback in season 4.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
I am through 4 episodes of The Boys and loving it. Deals with topical real life issues, as well as throwing in some comic book references that are tied to specific characters. That's pretty neat.

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
Just started watching this today and am in a couple episodes. I like the realistic touch of what superheroes would actually be like. Not so heroic. It definitely lives up to its mature rating.

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
I'm only one episode in, but I'm surprised by the speed it's moving at. I'm wondering if they have some ideas for original content to add to the series later.

Nova
They are doing specials on different planets and the last one was Saturn. So much cool, weird stuff going on there, especially on the moons. |

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
I am half an episode into the Boys. The scene with the Deep was hard to watch. Family came home so I had to stop it. Hope to finish the episode soon.

There is a lot of disturbing stuff in the series. Some of it is uncomfortable because it deals with real life issues and some is just nuts. But as the series goes on, you understand more about what makes these people tick.
