Strangely, I thought I'd like the 2nd one better, but it was such a retread of 1 in parts that I didn't like it as much as I figured. I actually liked the 3rd one a bit more.

Menchy is surprisingly tart
I'm not going to say High School Musical for the fear of being stabbed. But some of my other favorite movies:

Little Miss Sunshine
Best in Show
Spirited Away
Airplane
Devil Wears Prada
A Mighty Wind
Waterworld (Yes I said it. One of the all time biggest bombs.)
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Johnny Depp)
Filmed version of CATS
Pirates of the Carribean: Curse of the Black Pearl
Edit- Memoirs of a Geisha

Movies I liked:
Legally Blonde
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (Gene Wilder)
Napolean Dynamite
She's the Man
Shaun of the Dead
This is Spinal Tap
Edit- Because I Said So.

I'll probably be adding more later.

Ah, Titanic, the best bad movie I ever did see. I thought everything about that movie was really good except for the main story. I also didn't really care for how it went from the chaos of the ship going down to these little vignettes of how several passengers decided to meet their fates. All the background characters, sets, everything else was gorgeous, but the main love story was

Titanic... never has the thought of drowning in freezing water been made to look so horrific, yet so desirable at the same time.

The making of a great list of favorite movies, like breaking up, is hard to do and takes ages longer than it might seem.

#1 Fight Club
#2 The Shawshank Redemption
#3 2010: A Space Odyssey
#4 High Fidelity
#5 Transformers (2007)

You gotta kick off with a killer, to grab attention. Then you got to take it up a notch, but you don't wanna blow your wad, so then you got to cool it off a little. There are a lot of rules. Anyway... I've started to make a list... in my head... of favorite movies. Full of stuff I like. Full of stuff that makes me happy.

For the first time I can sort of see how that is done.

My mind is the Pink Zippo that sits on top of a pack of Camel Wides.

I just looked this up and it sounds good. I put in a request for it at my local library. Can't wait.

The Last Castle is a great movie. That and H2G2 are tied for my favorites right now.

6 x 9 = 42

I don't find many fans of the Hitchhiker's movie (I assume you mean the 2006 movie... or was it '05?). I absolutely LOVED the fact they used Journey of the Sorcerer after blowing up the Earth and showing the book.

"Legend" did the same thing for me. I've been a big Tangerine Dream fan for the last few years.
