I am not going to get my hopes up, but since the figures are pictured with tiles, I am kinda hoping that each expansion gets some tiles included. It would be nice and put a little more value into the $20 price point.
I find it interesting that they are releasing packs of planeswalkers together but have not expanded on creatures. Hopefully we will get some packs chock full of creatures and spells. I guess all we can do is wait.

An Eldrazi expansion would be one heck of a huge hero expansion. I can't imagine them attempting plastic figures that large. However, the flat cardboard terrain, that puts level 0 and level 1 (water and land) on the same surface might be intentional. Consider a huge figure with multiple separate bases (like three or four spaces worth of base) moving on level 0 and level 1 with no problem. These figures could come with a special rule that says to treat water spaces like land spaces; no stopping and consider them as level 1 spaces instead of level 0 spaces.

With the Eldrazi, there could be many little Drones, and big Eldrazis. They could make the little ones the same way they currently make figures, and the bigger ones could be hollow, like the Marro Hive. Painting something that big wouldn't be an issue, as most of the Eldrazi are gray-ish.

As for the playing of the Eldrazi, I'd like to see a mechanic that allows them to "eat" the world. If they come across height, in your example, they simply pass through it and remove it from the board.

Wow. That is a LOT of abilities. Basically an Event Hero (a la C3G) that I imagine could be used against regular Heroscape armies as well as Magicscape armies.

It's really exciting! And it's on a peanut base!

Fantastic! Giant monster creatures! Can't wait for this expansion. Hopefully news of this will crank up sales of the base set during Christmas.

Maybe we'll get more detail soon from Spiel and/or NYCC.

This expansion seems pretty cool. I'm excited.

Does anyone with Magic knowledge know how the colorless Planeswalker will likely function? Like, will he get his own type of cards to play, will he not get to play any cards at all, or will he be able to use cards from any color? Or is this not a Planeswalker at all?
