Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Amazon Warriors
This isn't the right thread for this conversation.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Doctor Octopus
Yeah, Doc Ock becomes a beast really quick with any attack boost. I've had luck running him with Amanda Waller.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Doctor Octopus
Cyber Claw (and its variations) is one of the more powerful defensive effects in the game, IMO. And a quadruple normal attack is nothing to scoff at.
4 Life is his soft spot. Auto wounders are his bane and anything with a mighty attack isn't really scared of him. Doc Ock does his best if you pair him with attack boosters and defensive podding figures. You want Doc Ock to tie down as many enemy figures as you can and go ape with a boosted attack while the other figures protect him from range. Probably better as a generalist than actually in the Criminal Faction as the Criminal Faction doesn't really give him as much of what he needs. Toss him in with like Star-Lord, Captain America (I), and some defensive podding figures, though, and I think he's pretty stout. 3/A- C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Doctor Octopus
He's a fun bruiser. Glass cannony, but yeah, paired with Cap/Starlord, or the Lex Corp, he can get out of hand quickly if his defense holds.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Doctor Octopus
Agreed with everyone else here - Doc Ock is pretty good. Get someone on low ground, lock them there, then pummel them with a boosted 4x normal attacks. Using Vulture in a Waller build is a good way to ensure that happens.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Electro
Pretty stout special attack too. Only issue is he's probably not going to survive more than 1-2 attacks in the superscape world.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Electro
Electro reminds me of a Rogue. Cheap and fragile, but with a decent special attack. Nice synergy with throwers too. Useful addition to a Sinister 6 or Suicide Squad build alongside Vulture.

Re: C3G Strategy Discussion - Electro
I can never seem to hit those Electric Skin rolls when I want to! He's pretty swingy in that he's a big, soft target and can injure your own figures if they're thrown next to him, but if you have a reliable movement and lockdown army (Doc Ock I, Vulture, some defensive back up, etc.) then you can usually get in a few auto wound rolls before he goes down.
3/B C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
