It got changed to make it fit more with the Avengers power naming precedence. The original was named Boots on the Ground.

How does this initiative movement boost work with powers like Hawkgirl's Nth Metal Wing Slash? Since her wording doesn't say it has to be activated during her "normal move" can you use the ability during Advancing Avengers?

Yes. I believe the moving all actually counts as normal movement, it’s just not on your turn.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
