I did not include human or soldier because they are used in both classic and custom heroscape. |

This thread is not for lists or general contributions. This is for questions. Make your own thread, like you did with your index, if you want to make those kinds of lists.
In general, more attack dice is better. Each attack die adds 0.5 skulls. Each defense die adds 0.33 shields. So adding one attack is generally 1.5 times as good as subtracting one defense. Note that this breaks down as you get more powerful: subtracting 3 defense would be very strong, as it would cause many figures to roll 0 dice. |

Re: Question Dump: Post Your Questions Here.
Hey all I just wanted to clarify a game format question and didn't know if the game format rules were posted anywhere. For Pick 1 Take 1 you bring 2-250 point armies. Both players can roll to decide who gets to pick first then the second player picks from the original opponents armies ergo they can't just take their 250 back. And I assume if one player ends up with 2 of the same unique one sits out. Is that all with this format? Thanks.

Re: Question Dump: Post Your Questions Here.
So I'd call that format a Pod Draft, and probably do it as follows:
Both players bring two pods, 250 points, 8 figures (you don't have to specify the figures if you don't want to). Those pods can't share any figures. The players dice off to see who picks first. High roll picks draft order. First player picks one pod, next player picks two pods, first player takes the last pod. If you have duplicate uniques, drop one copy. |

Thank you, just as I suspected!

Re: Question Dump: Post Your Questions Here.
Louisville played same format recently and with this you almost have to do exception of allowing multiple copies (treat as uncommon) even though against normal rules, as is really unfair to player who has to drop. Their were a couple people with Raelin so that would have been really scary doubled up, so basically the first person drafted first pod army containing Raelin and the other person made sure one of his/her pods had the other Raelin, but for lesser tier Uniques they were doubled up
Issue comes when both pods from each player also duplicates of each other. This is why I prefer when doing POD draft to make people bring extra pod (i.e. each person brings 3x 1/2 armies or 4x 1/3 armies) and/or each map have a pod or two by it, that way there is a couple extra pods left out each game.
