Re: Houston, we have a thread...

Hi all,

I just wanted to say "Hello" to the group. I bought the original set back when it was first introduced, but my son was a little young and we never moved much past the basic rules and it sat on a shelf for a long time.

Recently we have both gotten back into it and realized just what we had been missing all this time. Now I have thrown done some more cash on our new addiction and I have joined this site.

Looking forward to MS3 a whole lot. If there any games out in Katy, please let me know. See everyone around.

Brian

Welcome, Mr. McFlubba! My second child is about to be born, so future playtime looks slim for me, however we usually meet up in the Meyerland area these days.

If something pops up, we'll post it here, and hope to see you there!

Hi guys Charles' wife here. Just wanted to let you guys know if you need to get in touch with him about gaming you can send me a message and I'll see that he gets it. Since "the powers that be" won't let him come back. I post what he wants to let you guys know so at least you can get together again soon.

I can't be in the room to set up a tournament so it is going to designated "Open Heroscaping" I'll bring a bunch if people want to borrow terrain etc.

Re: Houston, we have a thread...

My son got the Marvel set for Xmas from my mother, and it is his favorite gift which we play every night since he opened it. He is really interested in buying some of the classic (and new sets) but we are having a hard time finding any local retailers that carry it.

The local Toys R Us, Walmart, and Target all told us they don't carry Heroscape any more, with the TRU guy saying the line had been discontinued. We also hit Third Planet, Nan's, Midnight Comics, and Bedrock City all to no avail. Any suggestions on stores in Houston that carry Heroscape products would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Houston, we have a thread...

Slagson,

Bad news: Heroscape is hard to find in Houston!!

Good news: Heroscape appears to be headed for a glorious revival in Houston with the introduction of DnD'scape!

In either case, currently, your best bet is to shop online. It's often much, much cheaper too.
