I'd prefer Outlaw bonding here. The theme's going to be a bit wonky at times anyway, and I like Yodaking's justification.
Batman already has a squad he can bond with. He can bond with the Hand if you take him with Lady Shiva.

I do too. I could probably roll with that and the Outlaw bonding. Their being a Unique Squad does help on that front.

Are these guys thematically augmented by venom though? I don't seem to recall that, but then I'm by no means a DC guy.

Maybe just go the route of the cube. Driven Outlaw bonding.

Does anybody have the mini? If so, can they tell me if it has a gun anywhere? Even if it’s just a holstered pistol that could be useful in deciding how the unit plays.

I don't know about comic history, but in one of the Batman video games I played their was for sure a mid level Bane goon who would juice up.

In the Secret Six series (led by Bane), the series ended with a giant battle between the Six and the Bat family and Bane juiced up the whole team (You can still guess who won anyway).

So it's not unprecedented that Bane shares.

I considered that, but didn’t know if it would be considered too much of a modification. We could always do like a Lesser Venom Injection with a snappy name.
