Re: Ronin's Public Workshopping Thread
Apparently Nick Furry is a real thing ....
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Ronin's Public Workshopping Thread
My son wanted to adopt a one eyed cat and name him Nick Furry. He even inquired about eye patches for cats.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Hmm, if we can find an appropriate figure, you might convince me to LD Ace the Bathound.

Re: Ronin's Public Workshopping Thread
Alot to catch up on here, but since Speedsters are of particular interest to me, I had to comment on this. I think you have caught most of the really important stuff and got caught up on one unimportant thing. The Acrobatics was a one time story use thing. Much more important to the character is bouncing through time. Its an essential element of his character. Basically, since his discovery of his speed powers, he has longed to be one with the Speed Force. But for him, that has always been unachievable. He has gotten very close several times, but always trips/stumbles/runs out of gas and bounces into a new time. He has lived a few undocumented "lives" and three we know of: the Old West as a Speedster, the Golden Age as a hero called Quicksilver who rivaled Johnny Quick, and as Max Mercury. Max is actually the one who convinced Johnny that there was a Speed Force and that his Speed didn't come from reciting his formula, but rather it allowed him to access the Speed Force. Max has mentored Impulse as his guardian in this century, Jesse Quick, as she tried to get over the loss of her father, and as the one time replacement Flash for Wally, and helped Wally overcome his fear of surpassing Barry (which he feared would cause the world to forget Barry). I think the bounce through time should be represented. Here's my suggestion:

Semi-Retired C3G Hero (and first Official Member of the C3G Target Audience!) The correct way to add C3G playtests to posts. My favorite day EVER on heroscapers.
