Re: Spellbook of Lord of the Flies (Conjuring)
What about this?

Re: Spellbook of Lord of the Flies (Initial Casting)
I'd drop the SS restriction. Creates a gap where the spell doesn't address Commons and Squads with SS. I'd just go UH get the no-range effect, anything else takes a wound.

Re: Spellbook of Lord of the Flies (Initial Casting)
Event are immune.
Are you saying an automatic wound Ronin? That just feels too powerful. I was leaning towards removing the wound mechanic completely. It is just flies, but he does kill an old woman with them and uses them to fuse Torq's armor so they got some bite to them. |

Re: Spellbook of Lord of the Flies (Initial Casting)
I just meant anything else gets the "roll a d20" bit. Sorry, hazard of phone-posting.
I'd be okay just restricting the spell to affecting Unique Heroes and dropping the "wound squaddies" part, though. Much simpler and more cohesive that way, which is good for spells, and Nemesis' multi-attack lets him prey on squaddies anyway. |

Re: Spellbook of Lord of the Flies (Conjuring)
Non wounding version. Maybe a range restriction? I think dok brought that up before.

Re: Spellbook of Lord of the Flies (Initial Casting)
I'd keep a range restriction pretty broad. 8-10 space sort of thing.
When the bit at the end says Warlocks can cast it one additional time - is that meant to be immediate, or does Nemesis just get to not discard it and use it whenever later? |

Re: Spellbook of Lord of the Flies (Initial Casting)
I think either way would be cool.
Current version is going for immediate double casting, so two targets. Open to other suggestions or dropping that part but I would like Nemesis to get a bonus. |

Re: Spellbook of Lord of the Flies (Initial Casting)
I like that effect as the bonus for Nemesis. Might just need clarified that it's immediately.
