Re: Houston, we have a thread...

Heroscape has returned to Houston-area Walmarts!

Or at least one...

I was in the El Dorado Walmart on Tuesday and they had Marvel Heroscape back in stock, along with Wave 9. Good to see again!

Re: Houston, we have a thread...

I got an entire wave 9 set. and an extra set with the dwarves at the hwy 6 and US90 walmart. There are two gladiator sets left. I know how enrique has a dwarf fetish and has tried to make them work.

The pictures do not do the kyrie justice.

Re: Houston, we have a thread...

Does this mean we should try to get together soon to try these "Wave 9" characters out?

Re: Houston, we have a thread...

That would be fine with me. Problem: I know nothing about my work schedule. I resigned from the church and will serve my last day there on the 19th of this month. I start training with new job Thursday night this week. When I know more about my schedule, I'll let y'all know.

I also might be having some folks over for eurogame fun on Saturday afternoon. Some are couples from our new Sunday school department, and some might be friends from UH. Regardless, it should be fun. Let me know if you're interested/available to pal around on Saturday for some games.

Re: Houston, we have a thread...

My schedule has been so insane... working two jobs, etc.

I have a game day scheduled in late December for a friend's birthday...

Otherwise, I don't know. I got Middle-Earth Quest for my birthday (3 months late) and got to play it once so far, with my kids.

They beat me.

Re: Houston, we have a thread...

ok, since there has been a thunderous silence. If I set up a tournament for Con Jour, who will play? Are the Dallas guys willing to come down for a con/tournament?

If I get enough responses, I'll set up and run and have room during the weekend for free play.

Re: Houston, we have a thread...

That weekend is not one that I can make work for me. Not sure about the other Dallas guys but I will mention it at Dignan's game night tonight.

A must read for all 'Scapers!

Re: Houston, we have a thread...

Just wanted to let y'all know that the Walmart by Katy Mills and I-10 has Wave 9. Today, I picked up one of each of the common packs and there were still one of each left on the shelf (allow w/ at least 3 Hero packs.)

Keep on posting updates about events - I hope to make it out to one soon.

Happy Hunting...

You Shake, I Bake... I Shake, You Bake... It doesn't matter, b/c someone will end up extra crispy.
