Re: The Book of Parademon - Design Phase
I think I want to word it like this (at least this is how I've been testing him):
MOTHER BOX BANDOLIER When Parademon receives any number of wounds from an opponent's attack, even if he would be destroyed, you may immediately use Mother Box Bandolier. Roll 3 unblockable attack dice against each figure within 3 clear sight spaces of Parademon, one at a time. After using Mother Box Bandolier, destroy Parademon. |

Re: The Book of Parademon - Design Phase
For timing purposes and also to clarify it takes place even if he's destroyed and also to help clarify it takes place before removing him in the event of him being destroyed and to save on words, why not this?
MOTHER BOX BANDOLIER When Parademon receives any number of wounds from an opponent's attack, before placing the wounds, you may immediately use Mother Box Bandolier. Roll 3 unblockable attack dice against each figure within 3 clear sight spaces of Parademon, one at a time. After using Mother Box Bandolier, destroy Parademon. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Parademon - Design Phase
That's even better! Thank you! I'll just change this:
When Parademon receives any number of wounds from an opponent's attack, before placing the wounds, you may immediately use Mother Box Bandolier. to this: When Parademon would receive any number of wounds from an opponent's attack, before placing the wounds, you may immediately use Mother Box Bandolier. |

Yeah, I thought it felt a tad off still. Nice adjustment.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Parademon - Design Phase
Hmm ... should it be "before" or "instead of"? The reason I ask is if you're destroying him with the power anyway, do the wounds still count as inflicted? There are certain powers that trigger off of inflicting wounds, so it's good to clarify one way or another.

Re: The Book of Parademon - Design Phase
Wounds should still count as inflicted, if he doesn't get wounds the power doesn't activate. I don't have time to work on wording, but any power that is triggered by a figure receiving wounds, needs to have those wounds applied IMO, otherwise the power shouldn't trigger.

Re: The Book of Parademon - Design Phase
Well I think the "before" language still covers it in that case, though it might be more confusing on that front than we like.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Parademon - Design Phase
Can you give an example of the confusion? Perhaps we can improve the language to make it more clear.

Does that make sense? C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Parademon - Design Phase
Does this make it crystal clear?
MOTHER BOX BANDOLIER When Parademon would receive any number of wounds from an opponent's attack, before placing the wounds, you may immediately use Mother Box Bandolier. Roll 3 unblockable attack dice against each figure within 3 clear sight spaces of Parademon, one at a time. After using Mother Box Bandolier, place the wounds Parademon would receive and destroy Parademon. |

Captain Cold, for example, gets to take a turn with a Rogue if he inflicts wounds.
