Wytefang's Birthday Bash!!

Hey folks,

I'm feeling better today since my little tragedy and I have decided to set-up a fun event for my birthday (which is coming up fast - July 19th). It'll be primarily a HeroScape event with (possibly) some LAN gaming thrown in if we feel like it and/or have the time. I live in Northern Coon Rapids if you're wondering or haven't met me yet.

We may have this at Village Games in Anoka though I've not settled that for certain, so hang tight and I'll edit this FIRST post once I have more info.

Most of my friends should be there though they don't all play HeroScape so it may be a mix of stuff that day. I just want to have fun on my b-day doing the stuff I like so I'll keep it open in that regard.

Let me know if you'd like to swing up for some fun.

I'd be there... if I didn't live on the opposite side of the States.

I mean, seriously, HS and a LAN party? How cool is that.

Give it some time. Hopefully folks in the area will speak up with interest of attendance.

Local Area Network. A bunch of computers linked together on a local server for the sole purpose of multi-player gaming!

Personally, I prefer the FPS style games. However, I've also enjoyed many an RTS session via LAN parties, as well.

In some cases, this can be a BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) kind of event.

The more, the merrier! Like the image below, listed as the largest LAN party of 2006.

Yes, all those little lights are computer monitors!

Happy Birthday....well, in a few days.

Love to make it out for some HS and LAN action, but you're kinda far away...the commute would kill me.....and my checkbook's already got that money reserved for Wave 7.

It is very likly that I will be coming Wyte, I'll just need to know the address of the place and if things play out in our favor I'll be there.
