Re: The Book of Ken (Design Phase)
I don't know the character at all, but I love the design. I like that he has a lot of options for attacking, he looks fun.

Seems okay for what I remember of the video game.

Re: The Book of Ken (Design Phase)
Looks fine to me. I like the special attack. Not so crazy about Whirlwind Assault and Close Combat Expert, as they get added to a lot of designs, and it starts to take away from their excitement as powers. It seems they both fit Ken well though.

Re: The Book of Ken (Design Phase)
I agree on your last point, TB, but - Ken and Ru are essentially the same, and Ryu has both, so I feel like it'd be a cardinal sin to leave them off here. Slaves to history, we are.
Overall he's a pretty basic but versatile Fighter. Nothing exciting, I know. JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!

Re: The Book of Ken (Design Phase)
Looks fine. I like simple powers and power reuse on these guys, as well as special attacks that involve movement. Seems to fit our overall aesthetic for Street Fighters thus far.
Glad to see another one of these guys in the process. I know there are folks out there who can't wait to see a wave of these. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Ken (Design Phase)
Looks like no real issues? I'll slate this for an Initial over the next week or two...
My only real question is whether to go with 3 or 4 Attack; that and points (which I'm hoping will be 140, at dead heat with Ryu) is my core concern. JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!

Re: The Book of Ken (Design Phase)
Didn't Ryu have attack of 4. I'd probably start with them the same and see what happens. I'd even play test them against each other several times.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: The Book of Ken (Design Phase)
Ken's SA is almost certainly better than Ryu's. I'd stick at 3 Attack if you want to keep Ken at 140.

Re: The Book of Ken (Design Phase)
Oh, right - I also moved his Shoryuken to -2 Defense, which is another toggle I might play with during testing. I want it to be worth giving up your move and possible extra attacks for, but not overshadowing... so yeah, we'll see.
