I do apologize for my being gone so long, I appear to have missed so much excitement.

Renquist grins, then sighs and shrugs.

Let's just say I only recently... aquired the Menagerie. I have yet to plumb it's very depths... though I fully intend to do so. I have a general idea of things here abouts, but nearly the degree of knowledge everyone assumes I possess.

I also think that this whole trans-dimensional crossing of worlds and dimensions throws all reality here into some sort of flux. It's mere conjecture though. I know I'm not dead... not deader than I already was anyway. It's rather odd I ended up here.

As for the cave, the Marro - I believe mentioned a series of spheres on the walls of that room. They seemed to have no function. I have reason, however; to think that simply isn't the case.

I had another observation too. Our newest guest here; Jotara mentioned his being something akin to a vampire. Now, you and I are hardly in the place to talk as informed individuals on the matter,(grins,) but regardless of whether I thought his story was plausible or not is irrelevant. It's entirely possible that his being from a different reality may also mean that his conception of a vampire is something removed from our own....

As for your reward Ravven, it is a simple matter... though many people seem to be dwelling on it.

Jotara? His name sounds Asian. There is always the possibility that he is from our world. Kindred of the East are far different from what most people accept as being standard vampire lore. Sip From what I have heard, of course.

I do not discount the possibility that he is from another world though. I have seen some strange creatures since coming here.

Spheres? Hmm rubs goateed chin Interesting, I wonder as to their use?

What were you told of these spheres? I do not recall them being mentioned while I was down there.

Of course.

Renquist excuses himself from the table and paces over to the security gate. Once through, he enters his chambers, returning a short time later.

He walks over to Ravven and drops decent sized pouch in front of Ravven. It makes a rather heavy thud mixed with the unmistakable 'chinking' sound of coin and gemstones as it lands on the bar. He smiles and nods, and goes about checking the ammo in his firearms .

I'm sure you'll find that more than reward enough. So Alex, Ravven... how long shall you both be about this day?
