Spoiler Alert!

Summary: Really tight match - the TMNT focused Wiccan early and blitzed him, wanting to deal with him while they were still running at peak efficiency. That gave Hulkling some time to get hits in though, and he did a pretty good job of racking up some damage and disrupting the TMNT a bit.

Game came down to a Hawkeyes vs Mikey endgame - Kate just barely scraped through.

Worth noting that Hulkling died to Lock and Strike here - he could have disengaged to make the attack, but he was trying to tie up the Turtles and keep them off of the Hawkeyes, since Hulkling was on his last legs and Hawkeye Sr had the OMs. Wasn't a terrible gamble, Mikey just pulled a big defense roll (4 shields on 5 dice).

Notes: Used double attack effect of RR twice, pull effect twice, +2 dice for a wound once, heal effect once. Dealt 2 wounds to Raphael in 3 attacks. Dealt 4 wounds to Leonardo in 2 attacks (destroying him), 2 wounds to Donatello in 1 attack, 0 wounds to Michelangelo in 1 attack. Took 1 wound from lava field and 1 from his own special power. Took 3 wounds from 2 Raphael attacks and 4 Michelangelo attacks. Destroyed by Lock and Strike.

Summary: Another really close one - Hulkling took some hits early, but managed to stay alive for a surprisingly long time by running away from Ms. Marvel and engaging himself to Toxin, who had a really crappy string of rolls and failed to finish him off. (Ms. Marvel couldn't attack due to Skrull DNA and had limited movement options)

The Rookies were in it all the way through, but Gamora managed to finally polish off Hulkling and Speed/Vision didn't have the juice to finish her off.

Notes: Used double attack effect of RR once, +1 attack effect once, heal effect twice. Dealt 4 wounds to Toxin in 3 attacks, 3 wounds to Ms. Marvel in 2 attacks (destroyed). Took 1 wound from Toxin in 3 attacks, 3 wounds from Ms. Marvel in 2 attacks, 3 wounds from Gamora in 1 attack (destroyed).

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Hulkling's pretty versatile, which is good for the Rookies since they've got a small toolbox. Crazy close results here.

Cool, looking good here. I’ll probably give Ericth74 the weekend to see if he gets his test in. Might be cutting it close on the May 1st deadline but I have the cards finished here already.

While Hulking is adjacent to an opponent's medium or large figure, opponents' figures must be adjacent to Hulking to attack him. Hulking is never attacked when leaving engagements.

ROOKIE RESHAPER
Before attacking, you may choose one:
• remove 1 Wound Marker from this card;
• roll an additional attack die, or place a Wound Marker on this card forto roll 2 additional dice;
• attack normally up to 2 times this turn; or
• choose a figure within 4 clear sight spaces of Hulkling. Place the chosen figure on any empty space within 2 spaces of Hulkling, ignoring any leaving engagement attacks.
Each option may be chosen once per round.
