TORCHWOOD LEADERSHIP
At the start of the game, you may choose up to 4 other Unique Heroes you control and place a black Torchwood Marker on each of their cards. None of the chosen figures may have the same Class. After revealing an Order Marker on this card and taking a turn with Captain Jack, if Captain Jack attacked an opponent's figure with a normal attack this turn, you may take a turn with a Unique Hero you control with a Torchwood Marker on its card within 6 clear sight spaces of Captain Jack, and you may not take any additional turns with other figures you control.

VORTEX MANIPULATOR
Start the game with the Glyph of Vortex Manipulator on this card. Captain Jack cannot lose the Glyph of Vortex Manipulator by receiving wounds unless he is destroyed.

FIXED POINT
At the end of each round after Captain Jack has been destroyed, roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 13 or higher, remove all Wound Markers from this card and place Captain Jack adjacent to a figure you control.

NAME = GLYPH OF VORTEX MANIPULATOR
SUBTITLE = TIME TRAVEL

When this glyph comes into play, place a Glyph of Temporal Displacement on this card. If there is at least one Glyph of Temporal Displacement on this card. Instead of taking a turn with this figure, you may choose this figure and up to one adjacent figure. Place the chosen figures on this card and place a Glyph of Temporal Displacement from this card on the space this figure previously occupied, if possible. Before placing order markers at the start of the next round, you must place this figure on an empty space on the battlefield, and any other chosen figure adjacent to this figure. Figures moved by this special power will not take any leaving engagement attacks.

Don't forget 80% of existing Green Lanterns, and Orange Lantern Lex. (Or Captain Marvel (Billy), but he's kind of there under Black Adam). There's another guy in testing right now, too.

Re: C3G Doctor Who Workshop

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking in your question there, Mr. Nobody.

C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Is Torchwood Leader good as-is (the edited version in my last post), or does it need to be toned down more/changed? I’m picturing him being a mid-100s figure.

After that last post I looked at Rover again and remembered he had “instead of” bonding instead of usual bonding.

Aiming a literally immortal leader for mid-100s could be a bit tricky - leader figures tend to command a premium, and resurrection tends to be worth quite a bit too, even if he's not amazing himself. I'd suggest aiming for high 100s, something like 170-200 range.

Then maybe he does need a nerf; I don't think he should be more powerful than the Doctors will probably end up being. He should certainly be less that Ra's. Jack is more of an immortal, but is far less effective in combat and is in charge of a far less powerful organization.

Being a leader is an inherent boost for any figure - I wouldn't be too fussed about keeping him equal to or below the Doctors. And I can't really see him as high as 200, that's a high-end estimate. I'd guess around 170/180 would be a fair level

That sounds about fair, not too far off where I want him to be.

Re: C3G Doctor Who Workshop

Here's something fun...a hex-based printable TARDIS interior someone made for use in their RPGs. He raised up the central platform and it looks pretty good. I'll try to print one out and see how far it is from being in scale with Heroscape hexes.

Re: C3G Doctor Who Workshop

That IS fun. As a Whostorian, how frequently did the Doctor battle inside the TARDIS in older stories? Seems pretty rare in new Who (I recall the one 11th where that dream-entity was invading the TARDIS).

C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

I'd say it was about as common as it is in the new series. There's this concept called "Temporal Grace" where the TARDIS is supposed to be able to stop any sort of weapon from being used in its interior, but half the time the writers forget about it.

LASER SCREWDRIVER
Start the game with the Glyph of Laser Screwdriver on this card. The Master cannot lose this Glyph by receiving wounds unless he is destroyed.

SOUND OF THE DRUMS
Before taking a turn with The Master, roll 4 combat dice;
  • If you roll no skulls, place a wound marker on this Army Card and your turn immediately ends.
  • If you roll 1 skull, instead of moving normally with the Master, you must move him as close as possible to the nearest figure. He must then attack that figure, if possible.
  • If you roll 2 skulls, add 2 to the Master's attack number and his roll for the Glyph of Laser Screwdriver for the rest of the turn.
  • If you roll 3 skulls, the Master cannot be attacked until the next time you reveal an Order Marker.
  • If you roll 4 skulls, instead of taking a turn with the Master, you may take a turn with up to two different Units you control. The Master can be one of those Units.

After moving and before attacking, you may choose an opponent's figure within 4 clear sight spaces of this figure. Roll the 20-sided die. If this figure is The Master, add 5 to the roll. If you roll 19 or higher, the chosen figure receives one wound. Continue rolling until the chosen figure does not receive a wound.
